Taylor's pov

"Colby?" I shouted as I took my shoes off by the door.

I could hear people in the kitchen, so that's where I went.  Brennen must have saw me before I noticed he was here, so his voice surprised me, "Hey Taylor! Want a drink?" He asked, pointing to the box of White Claws on the counter.

"Hey Brennen.  Um, no thanks," I said, pulling my hair over my shoulder.  I saw Jake walking into the room with a cowboy hat and a floral button-up, "How was the nineties?"

"Everyone got a piss can and Colby was a Jesus Hitler," He answered, "And they're all outside,"

I wasn't going to question Jake's odd answer, because knowing these boys for a couple of days I realized that he was probably being honest.  I walked out to the back to see the rest of the trap boys watching a massive dog deflate.

There was a girl too.  She had good taste in clothing, and was very pretty might I add.  I turned to slide the door shut, and Sam saw me and waved, which got Corey and Colby's attention.

The girl said something I didn't pick up, which made Corey do his wheeze-laugh, "Is this who you wanted me to meet?" I asked Colby, nodding to the girl.

"Yeah.  Amber this is Taylor, Taylor, Amber," He said, motioning back and forth between us.

"Hi," I said, smiling and waving.

Amber didn't hesitate to hug me while she talked to Colby, "You're right, she is cute!  I've heard so much about you, they kept talking about this Taylor girl and I had no idea who they were talking about!" She said before laughing.

I looked over at Colby, and I couldn't help but notice his face was a little more red than normal. "Yeah, that's me I guess," I shrugged, looking at the dog inflatable, "Was this part of the side effects of going into the nineties?"

"Yeah, they're extinct now," Corey said, walking up to it and patting it as it deflated.

"Clearly," I said.

We finished waiting for the dog inflatable to get all the air out so we could put it in the box.  Brennen and Jake came out to help, and since Sam really couldn't do much, he was responsible for holding everyone else's drinks, even though they could have just set them on the ground.

Afterwards, we all headed inside.  "I'm telling you, I'll get the video done and uploaded tonight," Jake promised to Corey, who thought otherwise.

"Dude it's like eight pm.  You aren't getting anything done," Corey said, grabbing a White Claw out of the box.

"Yeah, especially if we're gonna smash later," Sam said, opening the fridge and looking through it.

"Smash?" Amber and I said at the same time followed by us exchanging a surprised look and awkwardly laughing.

"Yeah," Colby looked back and forth between the two of us, "We smash every night,"

"All. night. long," Jake agreed, high fiving Colby.

"They mean Super Smash Bros, innocent ones," Brennen explained, patting us on the head.

"Oh okay. I was gonna say, I'm not sticking around if you guys are actually gonna smash," Amber rolled her eyes playfully.

"Taylor would," Jake shrugged, looking over at her, "She would rate it probably,"

"Hey, if that's what's on for family entertainment tonight," I agreed, raising my hands up in front of me.

My statement was followed by the "woahs" and "damns" of four year olds with no filter.

"You have to watch that one," Brennen told Colby, nudging my arm.
