A fun night leads to a fun announcement and betting for nine months.

Jazz and (Y/N) decide it is time to start a family. At the very least, they're enjoying some fun before going to sleep.

(Y/N) ends up sick two weeks later. Both believe she's sick with a cold until Ratchet questions the lack of cold symptoms.
"That's food poisoning if she's only throwing up," he argues.
"He insulted my cooking," Jazz points out after Ratchet hangs up.
"Should we tell him?" (Y/N) smiles.
"No, I don't want to tell the medic what we did!"
(Y/N) laughs as Jazz lies next to her.

The couple goes to the scrapyard the next day to visit friends. Ratchet notices something about (Y/N) but says nothing as (Y/N) would have to know.
As everyone catches up, (Y/N) waits for the right moment, hoping RatchetRatchet keeps quiet.

It's a fun few hours before (Y/N) decides it's time to tell everyone. She shows them the pregnancy test, and Jazz is shocked as he looks at it.
"So about yesterday?" Jazz asks.
"You should have told me!" Ratchet scolds.
"I'm fine. What would you have done besides tell me to drink plenty of water?" (Y/N) argues.
Ratchet knows this is true, and (Y/N) likely took the pregnancy test yesterday, and she must know he'll be doing an exam. Ratchet waits until tomorrow and lets the happy couple celebrate.

The couple returns to the junkyard the next day for a scan. Ratchet forced everyone to leave the scrap yard. The three are surprised by what the scan reveals. Jazz and (Y/N) stay at the scrapyard, waiting for the others to return to tell them.

The Bee team thought something was wrong for Jazz and (Y/N) to still be at the scrapyard until they saw the two smiling.

After hearing that the couple is having twins, but it's too soon to know what they're having, the Bee team began betting.
Jazz and (Y/N) decide to wait until the twins are born to discover what they're having.

Once Ratchet can tell what Jazz and (Y/N) are having, several members of the Bee team try to get him to tell them. The only one not bothering is Drift, and Ratchet doesn't think he's using his students. The two mini-cons want to know and get themselves a lecture from Drift to wait like everyone is supposed to.

The couple finds it funny hearing everybot but Drift betting on what they're having. Even Sideswipe and Strongarm are arguing about who'll be right is entertaining.
"Hey, no cheating!" They both yell, seeing Fixit trying to get close to scan (Y/N).
"Who knew two human sparklings coming would cause this," Jazz laughs.
"Until they argue about who's babysitting," (Y/N) points out.
"Oh, boy."

The joy of betting on what the couple is having turns to panic one night as (Y/N) goes into labor. Even though it's night and Ratchet already told them, it could be morning before both babies are born, no one wanted to go into recharge. Even Denny and Russell refused to go to bed.

"You should get a little sleep," Ratchet insists, "I told you it could be morning when the twins are born. (Y/N) might not be ready until two in the morning, or this could be a long wait."
He goes back to his makeshift medbay. Bumblebee tells everyone to go to bed, and they might get a little sleep or sleep all night.

(Y/N) tries to sleep before the contractions get stronger. Jazz tries to keep her comfortable. Ratchet doesn't dare leave, knowing the others will ask for an update. Hoping they went to sleep.

It's not until four in the morning that (Y/N) is ready. The Bee team wakes up to screaming but smiles, knowing it's (Y/N) delivering the baby. Wondering if they slept through the first baby's birth or not? Even though they can't watch.

Ratchet doesn't walk out of his makeshift medbay once the sound of screaming is replaced by a baby's cry. They assume this means he's waiting for the twin to come.

By six in the morning, Ratchet walks out of his makeshift medbay but tells the others that Jazz and (Y/N) will tell them what they had when they're ready. Telling them to be prepared to wait until tomorrow as neither had slept yet.

"I must be exhausted and dreaming," Jazz smiles, holding a baby girl while looking at (Y/N) holding a baby boy, tears rolling down his face.
"I wonder who won the bet?" (Y/N) smiles.
"We'll find out later. You need to sleep. I won't tell them without you."
Jazz takes his son from (Y/N) to allow her to sleep. He doesn't mind staying in the small makeshift medbay with his children for a few hours, and he only hopes they'll be quiet to let their mom sleep.
