Smokescreen is captured, and Megatron finds out where the Omega keys are, but he ends up helping Megatron.

Smokescreen didn't care what Megatron would do to him. He refused to tell Megatron where the Autobot base was and where they hid the two remaining Omega keys—failing to know that the cons likely have a way to get what they want.
"You'll be lucky to survive this," Knockout tells him while restraining him, "few survive the cortical psychic patch."
Smokescreen didn't know what that was until he saw his memories on the monitor.
Scrap, they know where we're keeping the keys. He worries.
"Ah, there they are," Megatron smiles, "let's go, Knockout!"
Smokescreen is left in restraints, and all he can do is cry at how he failed to protect the Omega keys and now put the team in danger.

Megatron is too late to get the Autobots' keys, but this infuriates the warlord until Knockout reminds him of their prisoner.
"You could demand a trade," Knockout suggests.
"An excellent idea."

The Autobots believe Smokescreen is offline, but they must continue their mission.
Before they can do anything, a space bridge opens.
"I advise you to step away from the Omega Lock," Megatron says before walking out of the space bridge, "or watch the Autobot die," Knockout, Soundwave, and Starscream walk out of the space bridge, escorting their prisoner who's chained and gagged, "humans know how to torture their prisoners. This is much better than inducing stasis or turning off his vocal processor. Need I need to explain what you're going to do?"
Arcee feels bad for scolding Smokescreen. He wouldn't have run out of the base and wouldn't be a prisoner of the cons.
Smokescreen's screams are muffled as tears roll down his faceplate while shaking his helm, trying to tell Optimus not to do it. Optimus should know this is a trap. On the other hand, Optimus refuses to see any of his soldiers harmed. The Autobots don't argue about being told to give the Omega keys to the cons. Smokescreen is released and hugs Optimus, crying.
"This war is over. The Decepticons have won!" Megatron smiles as he walks towards the lock, eager to turn Earth into the new Cybertron.

"What is that?" Raf points to the sky.
"You don't think...?" Jack trails off
"That the Autobots lost? Looks like it," Miko replies with a depressed sigh.
(Y/N) couldn't believe what is happening.
"You four, in the car now!" June Darby instructs.
The drive to the shelter is silent. The five humans hope the Autobots will defeat the cons and Earth will not be cyberformed.
All they can do is wait for Megatron's creepy voice, telling humans he rules Earth or their Autobot friends to find them. Which would mean the cons have been defeated.

Hours pass, and it's now night. The five humans wait for the Autobots to find them. This will confirm that they won the fight, but they see an explosion where the Autobots' base is.
"Y-you don't think...?" Raf tries to ask.
"That bastard killed the Autobots!" Miko angrily whispers.
"The Decepticons won; there's no hope now," (Y/N) cries with tears rolling down their face.
The five hug each other, hoping for a miracle.
