(Y/D) and Optimus both want a sparkling but worry the other will not like the idea. Optimus finally brings up the subject after finding out a bet took place.

A few months after the crap with KSI and the seed, (Y/N) has been thinking about having a sparkling. She thought maybe it was a sign her heat cycle was coming, but after a few months, she knew this was the feeling of wanting a sparkling. Sure, the junkyard might be considered a terrible place to raise a sparkling, but who knows if Cybertron will ever be revived. This is what (Y/D) is prepared to argue if Optimus says no.

"Hey, can you help us with a bet?" Crosshairs asks.
"Uh.... depends."
(Y/D) didn't want to go along with the bet, but she promised Tessa to take her into town. Therefore, she's taking part in the bet as much as she doesn't want to.

The two femmes were out for an hour. (Y/D) dropped Tessa off at Shane's house before returning to the junkyard. She sees everyone gathered and talking.
"... he's going to ask us in five minutes," Bee argues. (Y/N) ignores the conversation, distracted by her thoughts, "and that's seventy-five minutes, I win," (Y/D) hears before realizing fifteen minutes have passed, and Optimus has joined them.
"You said an hour!" Crosshairs argue.
Oh wow, fifteen minutes extra compared to you saying three hours, I win."
Crosshairs walks off, pissed.
"(Y/D), I need to talk to you," Optimus insists.
It's hard not to think Optimus saw she left the junkyard and has decided it's not safe, even if this isn't the first time (Y/D) took Tessa into town.

The two sat on the makeshift berth in the room they shared. Optimus worries about what (Y/D) will say.
"I can tell something troubles you," (Y/D) says.
Worry fills Optimus' processor, worried that (Y/D) will not only not like the idea but be angry that he brought it up.
"I... I want us to have a sparkling," Optimus tells her.
(Y/D) stares at Optimus, which worries him for a few seconds before she smiles.
"Actually, I have wanted the same. I thought you'd argue the fact that we're still targets living in hiding in a junkyard is not a good situation for a sparkling."
"It's not, but I believe our friends can help keep you and the sparkling safe."
Optimus watches (Y/D) move the back of the bed and sit with her legs open.
She smiles as she removes her interface panel.
"Naughty femme," Optimus growls.
She smiles, seeing Optimus looking to punish her.
The two have fun for a while before feeling satisfied. Hoping a sparkling is on the way. Forgetting the bet Bee and Crosshairs did that both didn't appreciate.
