Mirage and Sideswipe love the same girl. Will they tear apart their friendship and teamwork over who gets to date her? Will they work together when Lockdown kidnaps her?

A/N; the user had another similar request but added Lockdown. Hopefully, you like this direction.

Most of the Autobots don't bother hanging out with Sideswipe. Mirage doesn't like how Sideswipe acts like a human child, but the two are friends. It's hard for Sideswipe to get Mirage to hang out with him, and it's been hard for Sideswipe since no one knows where Sunstreaker is.

Mirage made time for Sideswipe tonight, and Sideswipe is happy to hear Mirage has time for the next three days.

The days flew by to Sideswipe. He's not happy watching Mirage leave. He believes the spy is going on a mission, but the spy is going on a date. This is routine for several months.

When Mirage leaves for his missions, Sideswipe spends his time with a female human friend in the city. Occasionally she'd come to the base.

Mirage is pleased to hear Sideswipe has a friend he hangs out with when Mirage is on his missions. He doesn't understand why Sideswipe won't let him meet his friend. 

Mirage doesn't think about it until he walks into the hangar, seeing Sideswipe and a femme. He thinks nothing about the two kissing until he realizes...
"That's my girlfriend, fragger!" Mirage rages.
Both Sideswipe and the girl are startled, which troubles Mirage, "what the frag are you doing, (Y/N)?!" Mirage rages but walks away before she can explain herself.
"Well, that was a great friendship while it lasted," Sideswipe sighs.
"It's my fault too. I should have pushed you away, but... I'm sorry I love you both."
(Y/N) runs out of the hangar towards the gate. Sideswipe doesn't go after her.

The two mechs end up on a mission with Optimus, Bumblebee, and Ironhide three days later. Neither has seen (Y/N) but thinks the other mech has seen her.
"Going to steal my target?!" Sideswipe snaps.
"Frag off, glitch!"
The two fight each other. Quickly the fight is broken up.
"What is wrong with you two?!" Optimus rages. Neither Optimus nor Ironhide could believe what the two mechs were fighting about, "did you talk to her before storming off?" Optimus asks. Both mechs admit they haven't seen her in three days, "both of you need to find her and talk to her after this mission."

The mission goes well. The two mechs speed to (Y/N)'s house but freeze in their tracks, seeing a familiar silver Lamborghini.
Lockdown quickly transforms and grabs (Y/N) before transforming and driving down the street.
:: Scrap, you can follow him closely while invisible. I have to stay back enough, so he doesn't think he's being followed.:: Sideswipe points out.
Mirage agreed and caught up to Lockdown while invisible. This is still dangerous, as unsuspecting humans can still crash into him, but Mirage will take the chance to find out where Lockdown's ship is.

The spy follows Lockdown to his ship but doesn't follow the con into the ship. He gives Sideswipe his location and waits for the silver mech.
"That glitch has her," Mirage rages, "who knows what he'll do to her?"
"Enough talk, let's go!"
The two find a way into the ship, hoping to find (Y/N) quickly.

"Where is Optimus Prime?!" Lockdown snaps.
"Fuck you!" (Y/N yells, "go ahead, kill me!"
"Oh, he'll come to find you soon."
Lockdown throws (Y/N) into a cage.

Mirage and Sideswipe have searched the ship for an hour, with no luck. The two get worried that (Y/N) was killed and disposed of.

The two finally find (Y/N) in a cage, concerned that no guards are around.
"Come on, before guards show up," Mirage insists.
(Y/N) runs with the two mechs rather than choosing whose shoulder to ride on, but there's no way she can run far away from the ship.
Mirage grabs her before transforming. The two mechs speed away. They know even though they got away, Lockdown will look for them.

They return to the base with (Y/N). She gets out of Mirage's alt mode and walks away.
"Hold on, (Y/N)," Mirage insists.
"I'm sorry, I-I....," (Y/N) tries to explain herself.
"You like us both, don't you?" Mirage asks.
"Yes," (Y/N) replies.
The two mechs look at each other.
"Sharing a femme, huh. What do you think, Mirage?" Sideswipe asks.
"Definitely going to differ from you and Sunstreaker sharing a girl, but she loves both of us."

The three of them are happy no one's heart is crushed, though it'll be an adjustment sharing the same femme. The mechs are happy that she's ok with alternating between going on dates with one mech and both. The trio thought everything was perfect...

.... until the day both mechs thought it was the right time to frag with their girl. With their heightened sense of smell, neither could keep it a secret from the other mech.
"Uh... well....," Sideswipe is uncertain what to say.
Neither are certain if they want to skip right to both fragging (Y/N) simultaneously, even if they still are taking turns.

They didn't think their girl would think it was a great idea.
The night starts out like any other; the trio cuddling, but things quickly change when Sideswipe kisses her. Mirage has gotten used to watching the two kiss since it's hard for the three to make out together. His feelings change watching the two undress each other. Trying not to feel like he's being forced to watch Sideswipe frag the girl he loved as if Sideswipe stole her from him.
This is why I was thinking we shouldn't be doing this. The spy regrets but knows it would be harder if the two mechs took turns fragging their girl as in Mirage isn't here watching Sideswipe start the fun.

He didn't think (Y/N) would move to kiss him, and as with Sideswipe, she's taking the spy's clothes off. Saying nothing, the two mechs kiss down (Y/N)'s body, smiling at how much she's enjoying this.

Mirage knew Sideswipe would want to go first once (Y/N) was ready. Again, the spy feels like he's being forced to watch Sideswipe frag with his girl as revenge for something the spy did. He feels strange getting a turn after Sideswipe had his fun. He tries to act like Sideswipe isn't in the room as he kisses (Y/N) and goes in.
"That was fun," (Y/N) smiles as the trio cuddle.
"Should we try the shower now?" Sideswipe asks.
"Showering together, but that's it," (Y/N) replies.
"Fine," Sideswipe sulks.
The two mechs smile, seeing their lady walk into the shower.
"Hard to believe we're friends and sharing a femme," Mirage smiles.
"Are we dreaming then?"
The two laugh before getting in the shower with (Y/N). Enjoying what they have together.
