A Predacon signal in the middle of a thunderstorm gives the Bee team’s new member, but not everyone is welcoming.

The Autobots prepare for a thunderstorm heading their way in three days. Grimlock is already freaking out while the others are not worried, though only Bumblebee and the team’s two human friends know what a thunderstorm is. Even Fixit’s explanation doesn’t ease Grimlock’s fear.
“So I guess he’s hiding during the thunderstorm,” Bumblebee sighs.

Grimlock hides in his makeshift quarters during the storm. With nothing else to do, everyone but Fixit goes to their quarters and the humans go into their RV. 

The storm rages on for twenty minutes before Fixit gets a signal.
“That’s odd,” he says out loud.
“What’s odd?” Bumblebee asks.
“The signal is.... from a Predacon, but the Alchemor doesn’t list a Predacon in the database.”
“We better investigate,” Bumblebee decides and goes to Grimlock’s makeshift quarters.

Bumblebee didn’t think the Dinobot would scream as he moved the tarp out of his way to enter the makeshift quarters.
“It’s Bumblebee, Grimlock,” Bee assures him, “we have a Predacon signal to investigate.”
Grimlock knows arguing is pointless.

The signal has the Bee team investigating a nearby cave.
“This place is creepy,” Grimlock comments.
“You’re supposed to be a tough Dinobot, not a wimp,” Sideswipe argues. As the team walks deeper into the cave, they find a large open area with large boulders, “it’s a dead-end, let’s go,” Sideswipe says, but before he can turn around to leave, a large creature appears, resulting in him screaming and jumping that Grimlock catches him.
“Who’s the wimp now?” Grimlock teases as Sideswipe stands on his peds.
“Is that the Predacon, sir?” Strongarm asks, “a giant blue and green winged butterfly wolf?!”
“I do not know,” Bumblebee replies.
The creature in question spreads its wings, scaring everyone but Strongarm.
“Sir, wait!” Strongarm yells as she sees the creature is injured, “Fixit, I’ll be bringing back an injured creature.”
“You mean the Predacon?”
“I don’t know,” Strongarm slowly approaches the creature, who wants to flap its wings faster to say get away, but the left wing is injured, “let me look at your injury.”
The creature lets Strongarm look at the injured wing. She quickly realizes this is the Predacon, and they’re bleeding Energon, “you need to come with me. What’s your name?”
“Naegissa,” the Predacon replies in a femme voice.
Strongarm informs Bumblebee and Fixit that she’s returning with the Predacon.

Once Fixit deals with Naegissa’s injuries, including ones Strongarm didn’t see, Bumblebee welcomes her to stay with the team. Strongarm lets Naegissa stay with her in her makeshift quarters as the storm passes. The two femmes get to know each other before going into recharge.

“You let them stay with you?!” Sideswipe asks, alarmed.
Naegissa is displeased with this comment.
“And Bumblebee is letting her stay here. At least until her injuries heal.”
Sideswipe walks away, displeased, as Bumblebee approaches the two femmes. Naegissa figured Bumblebee would ask about her history and why she’s on Earth. While hoping the others will interact with Naegissa rather than ignore her, he assigns Strongarm as her partner to teach her about Earth. Believing the two will become good friends.

Grimlock tries to be nice to Naegissa, but he’s still terrified of her. She is bothered by this, but Bumblebee thinks he’ll come around. Drift and his students do not avoid her.
Unfortunately, Sideswipe has decided she’s not welcome here. Avoiding her and complaining that she’s allowed to stay.

It’s a good three days before Bumblebee has had enough.
“Sideswipe! This is unacceptable behavior!” He scolds.
“Really? Letting a Predacon that we know nothing to stay with us?” Sideswipe challenges.
“Actually, with all the time Strongarm has spent with her, we know all we need to about Naegissa. You have been warned, Sideswipe.”
Bumblebee and the two femmes walk away as Sideswipe questions if Bumblebee is considering letting Naegissa officially join the team.

As the days go by, Grimlock tries to talk to Naegissa, who is patient as Strongarm gets the Dinobot to relax. Bumblebee watches, pleased to see most of the team trying to befriend Naegissa.

Naegissa has been with the team for a month, and her injuries are healed.
“Finally, she can go!” Sideswipe cheers.
“I decide, Sideswipe,” Bumblebee reminds him, “and I think Naegissa would be a good addition to the team.”
Sideswipe didn’t think Grimlock would agree with the others.
“Well, maybe you should have paid attention, and you would have noticed that everyone has been spending time with Naegissa!” Strongarm scolds.
Sideswipe sees Strongarm standing close to Naegissa. Questioning if they’re more than friends already.
“I’ll be happy to join the team, Bumblebee,” Naegissa states.
“Very well, welcome to the team, Naegissa.
Everyone but Sideswipe cheers. Bumblebee is already planning on talking to him later, hoping this won’t cause problems as the team captures escaped cons.
