Going to Cybertron with Ratchet during the coldest month of the year sounds like a good idea, even if it's February and (Y/N) thinks she'll be missing Valentine's Day. Even with this thought, she's wondering what sex is called on Cybertron. (Y/N) finds oaut Ratchet has plans for Valentine's Day, and she decides to ask her questions.

"I hate the winter, and February will get so cold," (Y/N) complains to Ratchet.
Ratchet is reading a message as (Y/N) is complaining. (Y/N) sighs, knowing Ratchet can't ignore messages he gets, hoping it's not one telling him to report to Cybertron for a while.
"So, I have to go to Cybertron for a while, and -."
"I'm not dealing with the cold alone!"
"You won't be. I've been talking to Magnus about letting you stay with me for a while. Though I'll be in the medbay most of the day, I think I can arrange for you to tag along, and we can stay until spring."
"What happened?"
"A ship crash-landed-twenty-four mechs on board. Twenty are in critical condition. We might be dealing with stasis for a while, but I need to be in the medbay, in case you know."
(Y/N) nods and goes to pack for at least a month on Cybertron. She's a little bummed her plans for Valentine's Day are ruined.
I doubt we'll be able to come back to Earth for a day in two weeks.

(Y/N) figured Magnus would be giving her a list of rules. He doesn't hide how worried he is about a human being on Cybertron and is trying not to tell her to go home.
"You've gotten soft," she teases.
"Watch what you say!" Magnus scolds.
(Y/N) laughs as she walks away, unaware of Magnus' smile.

(Y/N) is given a tour of the city before being brought to Ratchet's office in the medbay. She sees a few injured mechs, hoping they'll be ok.
Glad my phone and tablet work on Cybertron. (Y/N) thinks as she finds a game to play on her tablet.

Ratchet isn't liking that (Y/N) has been in his office all day even if there's not much for her to do in the city. (Y/N) can tell Ratchet is stressed about the condition of his patients.
Maybe I should have stayed on Earth. She wonders.

A week goes by before Ratchet's twenty patients are improving. Enough to allow him to plan something for Valentine's Day, but not enough for him to take (Y/N) back to Earth for the day.
(Y/N) has learned how prepared the Autobots are for humans to stay on Cybertron. Wondering if there are other humans the Autobots know. (Y/N) is happy Ratchet is distracted and not knowing something on her mind.
Perhaps I have a plan for Valentine's Day now. She believes.

Ratchet can go back to Earth to get a few things before Valentine's Day.
"Are you sure about this?" He asks First Aid.
"Yes, we have ten patients, and they're stable. I'd tell you to go ahead a d take (Y/N) back to Earth, but I know you already have plans."

(Y/N) gets ready to meet Ratchet at one of the observation towers, amazed at the dress he got from her closet. She struggles to relax while thinking about what she wants to ask Ratchet.
Glad I don't deal with the toots or diarrhea when nervous.

(Y/N) can't believe how handsome Ratchet's holoform looks in a (color) suit or the setup he has.
"I cooked your favorite dinner," He tells her as the two sit at the table.
(Y/N) wonders if Ratchet has an entire kitchen kept in his subspace and probably a generator to power the appliances.
"So what if I have an entire kitchen and generator in my subspace?" Ratchet asks, "anything to make you happy. Also, I've had that stuff since we left Earth. We're working on the space for humans."
"So you can read my mind now?" (Y/N) asks, but sounds more worried than joking.
"No, what's the matter?"
"Um... what's the word for sex on Cybertron?"
Ratchet is confused about why (Y/N) asks this question until it dawns on him.
"Interface," he replies.
"D-do you want to interface after dinner?"'
Ratchet is happy that (Y/N)'s mom insisted that he take condoms with him. He hasn't brought up the subject to Magnus either, and that's a bit of an awkward conversation.
"Ok, let's interface after dinner," he replies.
The rest of the night is fun for both of them.
