RBA | Blades X Medix: A Worried Father

Blades discovers his son, Medix, is getting bullied. He takes Medix to Griffin Rock for a day together.

Blades watches his son, Medix, get bullied by the other recruits. Heatwave also watches, not pleased with the situation. With classes not happening today, Heatwave gives Blades permission to take his son to Griffin Rock for a day of fun. This won't solve the problem, but at least the young mini-con will have a break.

Blades hoped that Cody or Dani were around, but the firehouse was empty.
I don't know if I can help my son with his bullying problem myself. Blades worries. I have already tried to contact Ratchet and Bumblebee.
"Why are we here, dad?" Medix asks.
"Spending a little time together. I know we have spent little time together since I've been away helping humans or teaching class."

The two discover there's a summer festival going on. The town's citizens are happy to see Blades is back on the island, but wonder why Medix is not with the other recruits. No one knows Blades is his father, and the two mechs can keep it that way.

The two mechs spend a little time at the festival, watching the performance before heading into the woods to hike up in the popular spot to watch the sunset. Both find it relaxing and not something only humans on dates can do.
"Tell me what the other recruits say to you," Blades insists.
"That I'm controlling and no fun. They like to fool around during our training. If we were on real missions, I doubt things would go well."
"Yet you all pass the training exercises. True, arguing on a rescue mission isn't great, but do you understand that you're part of the issue? You can't blame the others while you're meant to be working as a team."
"Yes," Medix sighs.
"You are learning and will be a great medic, just like Ratchet."
The sun doesn't set for twenty minutes. Blades gets an idea to camp out in the woods with his son.
"I didn't think I'd ever use the tent Doc Greene made for us," Blades explains as he presses a button and the box he placed on the ground expands into a tent and a fire pit. 
A fire is lit in time for the two to watch the sunset.

Medix stares at the sky as the stars appear, feeling relaxed. The two enjoy the time together before going into the tent to recharge.

Blades watches Medix sit at the cliff's edge, watching the sunrise. He can tell his son is not looking forward to going back to the academy.
:: Heatwave, we need to add bullying awareness to the recruits' training.::
Blades sits with Medix, regretting his son has to deal with bullying.

"I'll be including lessons about bullying within the team," Heatwave assures Medix, "even if it's only here at the base; bullying is not good for a team to work together."
After this little trip, Blades realizes he needs to spend more time with his son. Perhaps he needs to be the one to teach teamwork and how bullying is wrong.

A/N: so it's confirmed that Ratchet is Medix's uncle, but what if Blades is also related to the two like this one-shot?
