TFP | Soundwave X Cybertronian Reader: Neutral to In Love

(Y/D) is captured by cons, reuniting with Soundwave before being forced to be a Decepticon in the war. Soundwave takes advantage of the situation to tell (Y/D) he loves them.

(Y/D) crash-landed on Earth three months ago with no way to repair their ship. They have no interest in the war. Even if it was a war that would determine the fate of cybertronians. Now the planet is dead, and any survivors not fighting in the war are spread across the galaxies.
(Y/D) has found a cave in a mountain to serve as their base. Away from the native species of the planet. They scanned an Earth military jet that flew by in case they'd need to evacuate their current location. All this time, they didn't know the war reached Earth until they hear the familiar voices of Optimus Prime and Megatron.

(Y/D) runs out of the cave, about to transform when she's captured
"Let me go! I have no interest in fighting!" They yell before knowing who has them.
Realizing that Soundwave is the one who captured them.
Scrap, at least the Autobots would let me go. Now I'm screwed. (Y/D) fears.
They're put in a cell.

(Y/D) doesn't know how much time passed before Megatron approaches the cell.
"Well, I never thought I'd see a neutral Cybertronian on Earth," Megatron smiles, "a former neutral."
"I'll never fight in this war!"
"You should know by now that I'll find a way. Yet you sound ready to die, so threatening to kill you won't work."
"Frag you!"
Megatron only laughs before leaving the cell.
Soundwave is ordered to guard (Y/D). Though in the cell is not how it's typically done, Soundwave is happy Megatron isn't questioning him.

"I'll see what I can do," Knockout tells the warlord, and heads to his lab.
:: Soundwave, take care of our guest.:: Megatron orders.
Soundwave figured he'd be told to make sure (Y/D) doesn't offline. He worries about what Knockout will do to force (Y/D) to fight the war.

Megatron is impatient but wants the method that'll force (Y/D) to fight with the Decepticons to be permanent and not harm them. Even while knowing Megatron's goal, (Y/D) still feels like Soundwave is being too nice to them, considering they're still a prisoner.
"Huh, three weeks," (Y/D) comments, "I thought he'd give up by now."
(Y/D) knows Soundwave doesn't talk much, but they've gotten used to the one-sided conversations.
"He will get what he wants," Soundwave says, surprising (Y/D), "and I will get what I want."
(Y/D) remembers hearing the same voice centuries ago, but didn't know she was talking to Soundwave.
"I remember now, I left in a hurry. Were you planning on raping me that day?"
"No, even with our short time together, I was falling in love with you."
(Y/D) doesn't know what to say. They knew they were talking to a Decepticon that day and wanted to leave quickly. Soundwave nods and leaves, knowing it was unlikely (Y/D) liked him. He'd rather not get Knockout involved in his love life. He'd rather not force (Y/D) to fight in the war, but he'd never defy Megatron.
He works on convincing himself that once (Y/D) is a con, the two can be together.

"Finally," Megatron smiles, holding a cube of tainted Energon.
Knockout smiles, knowing his leader is happy, and at the extra work he put in for a certain silent Deception. The two go to (Y/D)'s cell.

"I said I'd make you fight in this war," Megatron reminds (YD) as Knockout and Starscream chain them to the hall.
"Frag off!" (Y/D) yells before Knockout injects them.
No one thought the injection would cause pain. Soundwave dreads hearing the screaming.
Megatron orders Soundwave to leave with him and Knockout.

Soundwave dreads hearing ten minutes later that (Y/D) is in stasis. An outcome Knockout didn't calculate. Megatron is not pissed — yet — but has threatened Knockout if (Y/D) doesn't online or offlines for good. Soundwave wants to threaten Knockout, but he doesn't want to reveal that he knows (Y/D) and is in love with them.

(Y/D) wakes up on a medical berth, uncertain how they got to Knockout's medbay or how long they've been out.
"Ah, (Y/D), you're online," they hear Megatron.
"What happened?"
"An Autobot injured you in battle. You've been in stasis for an Earth day."
After Knockout tells (Y/D) they'll need to stay in the medbay and rest for the day, Megatron leaves the room smiling.

"The plan worked, Soundwave. (Y/D) doesn't remember that they swore to stay neutral in this war."
Soundwave believes this can work to his advantage, though he can't believe as a con, he's worried about lying. Taking it as a sign of how much he loves (Y/D).

"Are you feeling ok?" Soundwave asks.
"Yeah, but I can't believe I was taken down by Autobot scum!"
"I was afraid I'd lose you. I-I love you," (Y/D) isn't sure what to say, "I know you don't feel the same way, but I want to spend time with you."
(Y/D) smiles, believing the two will have plenty of time together considering they were injured to the point of being in stasis for a day.

Knockout advises Megatron that it would be wise to keep (Y/D) off the battlefield for a while. Though he's worried about Megatron finding out Soundwave's secret.
The chances of the warlord allowing a relationship is as likely as him surrendering to the Autobots.

Days of rest pass, and (Y/D) is cleared for battle. Soundwave is more in love with them, and not looking forward to watching (Y/D) leave for battle. He knows he can't protest (Y/D) going into battle.
"Please be careful," he tells them.
He didn't think (Y/D) would hug him while promising to be careful.

"Say hello to a new member of the Deception cause," Megatron smiles as (Y/D) engages in battle.
"Which one of you Autobot scum injured me and put me in stasis?!"
The Autobots look at (Y/D), confused and questioning if Megatron is forcing them into battle. They know there's no talking to (Y/D). All they can do is fight them and the rest of the Decepticons.
Soundwave watches from the ship, impressed by (Y/D)'s fighting skills and falling deeper in love with them.

Soundwave hugs (Y/D) once they're alone.
"I know it's only been a few days, but I want to kiss you," (Y/D) smiles.
(Y/D) wasn't prepared to find out Soundwave has a face under his visor. Loving the beautiful face of the quiet con. Soundwave hopes this is the beginning of a romantic relationship. Knowing it'll still take time. Hoping (Y/D) never finds out the truth of how they ended up fighting in the war they never wanted to get involved in.
