Springer knew he'd meet a few humans and would have to learn the basics about humans.
A/N; This might be written wrong. Not sure if any pronoun used is supposed to be replaced with 'it' no matter the sentence.

"It's good to see you, Springer," Rodimus welcomes the Autobot to the Earth base.
He's introduced to the humans the Autobots work with. Not thinking any of them would be interested in being his friend.
"Hi, I'm (Y/N)," one of them introduces themselves.

Six months later, Springer still can't believe he has a friend. He's learned a lot about humans. How like Cybertronians, there's a lot of hate. Even if there's a list of reasons compared to the one reason Cybertronians have. Springer hates the reasons humans have and the debate on if the hate is acceptable.

One day he discovers the hate has reached (Y/N) as he watches his friend walk into the base, crying.
"What's wrong?" Springer asks.
"My mom doesn't agree with my gender identity."
Springer didn't understand. To him, this is (Y/N)'s mom arguing if their child is a boy or girl. Yet (Y/N) is an adult, why would they have this argument? He is afraid to admit he doesn't understand, but how else can he help his friend?
"I... uh... I don't understand. You're an adult, why the argument about whether you're a boy or girl? Isn't that obvious at birth?"
Springer flinches, waiting for (Y/N) to yell at him for not understanding.
"Oh, I see, you guys aren't being educated. Being taught that rubbish. I'll teach you."

*Hours later*

".... I know not everyone will accept the idea of all the gender identities and that's ok as long as they're not jerks about it, but my mom is one of those jerks...," (Y/N) finishes before crying.
"You're an adult, you can move out and live with us."
(Y/N) sits on Springer's chassis as he lies on his berth. Springer promises to protect (Y/N) and will wait for them to teach the others. The only thing he will struggle with is that (Y/N) uses 'it' as their pronoun. Hoping it'll be ok to use 'they', but he'll try to get used to using 'it' or (Y/N)'s name when talking about them.
Springer smiles as he watches (Y/N) sleep. Hoping they don't deal with jerks often.
