Ratchet and Prowl have been extra moody lately. Their sparkmates are concerned and plan a double date to get answers.

"Get out of my medbay!" Ratchet rages as Ironhide walks in, but the medic is raging at two soldiers who appear to be here by appointment, considering the appointment cards they're trying to show the medic.
Ironhide gets the two soldiers out of the medbay before Ratchet throws wrenches but ends up hit in the head. Ironhide watches Ratchet walk away, and that's his proof that something is not right with his sparkmate. Even though Ratchet throws wrenches, he would regret hitting anyone in the head.
This is not good, but I better stay away from him. Ironhide concludes though he knows he could have a serious concussion from being whacked with the wrench. He returns to the room he shares with Ratchet, hoping rest will help.

Meanwhile, Jazz is enjoying listening to music.
While walking down the hall. He didn't see Prowl approach, yank the headphones off Jazz and destroy Jazz's phone.
"What the frag?!" Jazz asked, pissed.
Prowl ignores Jazz and walks away. Jazz walks down the hall the opposite way of Prowl.

"What the hell?!" Jazz asked, alarmed seeing Ironhide walking down the hall, clearly in pain. Everyone knows feeling pain in the head or helm might not be good, and Jazz is certain this isn't good, considering how much pain Ironhide is in, "let me help you."

"Turn off the lights," Ironhide complains as he lies on the bed, covering his head with a pillow. Jazz does as Ironhide asks and leaves the room.
Jazz: something is wrong with Ironhide. Headache and light sensitivity. He's in his room.
Ratchet: scrap, I'll be right there.

"What happened?" Jazz asks, sitting by Ironhide.
Jazz couldn't believe what Ironhide told him.
That's not like Ratchet at all. While Prowl would punish by taking things away — mostly Sideswipe's things — he wouldn't destroy items.
Jazz is concerned hearing Ironhide tell Ratchet a completely different story than what he told him.
"It's not a serious concussion, but you need to rest," Ratchet tells his sparkmate and tells Jazz to leave with him.
Something is not right. Jazz worries.

As Jazz walks down the hall, he catches Prowl scolding soldiers for trying to watch T.V.
"The lounge room is open after five!" He rages.
That's not true. Anyone can use the room any time. What the frag is going in? Jazz questions.
"What the frag was that?!" Jazz asks, not expecting to be slammed into the wall.
"Disrespecting your superior, are we?!"
"What? No, I just asked a question."
Jazz is thrown to the ground, and Prowl walks away.
Something is going on with Ratchet and Prowl.

Jazz struggles with Prowl's sudden anger towards him and others, and he even catches Ratchet raging at others. While these two mechs have a temper, this is not like them.
He  wants to wait until Ironhide is cleared for duty. Even though he's waiting a week. He'd rather not inform Prime.

Even Ironhide agrees when Jazz tells him what he's been seeing for the past three days.
"Damn it, we can't wait!"
"I know, but we'll piss off Ratchet if you're not resting, and then we'll get nowhere. Except for hearing our sparkmates scolding us."

It's another three days before Ratchet clears Ironhide. Jazz regrets reporting to Ironhide that Prowl is still acting more pissed than usual, and he doesn't seem to know he's been in a few fights with Jazz. Which has allowed Jazz to get more of a sense of Ratchet's unusual angry behavior while in the medbay. They believe simply getting their sparkmates to join the two for a chat will not work, and a double date might work or result in the two mechs getting scolded for thinking a double date was a great idea.
"... even if they are fine with that, we need to plan this carefully," Ironhide explains, "I'm hoping they'll be fine with watching a movie as part of the date."
"But we're going to be talking to them?"
Ironhide nods.

Prowl and Ratchet agree to a double date, though Ratchet sounded annoyed to Ironhide. He's not sure if that's a clue or not.

The double dinner date goes well, but Ratchet refuses to watch a movie with Jazz and Prowl.
"Are you furious at one of them that you've reached your limit being with them? Ironhide asks.
"No, now let's go!" Ratchet replies, forcing Ironhide to go with him.

"What is your problem?!" Ironhide asks, pissed as he sits on the bed, "you've been a glitch all week!"
"And where have I been all week?!" Ratchet yells, "this is not what I had in mind."
"Oh, and it would be different on Cybertron?! That's no excuse for being an aft!"
Silence fills the air as neither mech knows how to continue this conversation.

"I'm tired of dealing with the humans who have no respect. I thought Sideswipe was bad, but ugh!!" Prowl rages.
"Maybe this will relax you," Jazz smiles.
"What are you —?"
Prowl is interrupted by a kiss.
I'm kinda pleased you are angry and haven't noticed my heat cycle. Jazz thinks while planning his next move.
Prowl watches Jazz's holoform disappear without saying a word. He follows along, knowing their alt modes are in the private hangar meant the only for Prowl, but he lets Jazz use it.

Prowl sees Jazz transformed and also transforms. He didn't think Jazz would tackle him to the ground to kiss him again. Until he noticed Jazz's optics.
"So that's your plan," he smiles as he removes Jazz's panel. Jazz is ready for a little fun.
Jazz smiles as he removes Prowl's panel and puts a digit in.
"I wanted to find out why you're so pissed, but I need some relief."
Prowl moves Jazz's servo out of the way and grabs his spike. He knows he's tight, but hoping rubbing Jazz's spike will help both of them. He smiles, hearing Jazz moaning, already feeling relief. After a few minutes, Prowl releases Jazz's spike to allow the mech to go into his valve. Prowl feels like he's dreaming of fragging his sparkmate, while Jazz already feels relief as he moves slowly.
Prowl slowly relaxes

Ratchet is also relaxed as Ironhide pounds him in a small unused hanger. The two worried they'd get caught as they walked through the base in their bipedal form to this hangar.
"Better?" Ironhide pants as he lies on Ratchet, spike still in his valve.
Ratchet replies by hugging Ironhide. The two don't think it'll be a problem if they recharge in the hangar. Meanwhile, now using their holoforms, Jazz and Prowl return to their room and go to bed.
