"So... how long are you planning on ignoring me?"

Surprisingly, this time Kakashi wasn't asking this question to his eleven-year-old-menace, instead he was asking it to the brunette-haired academy teacher that seemed dead set on making him feel as if he did something wrong by throwing him out of his own house after he helped him with all those seals even though he had no obligations to.

Now that Kakashi thought of it that way, it did seem a little wrong.

That and his apprentice won't stop looking at him with that glare followed by that kicked-puppy-face-look when he glared back until he decided to do something about the chunin.

"What are you talking about, jonin-san?" Iruka blinked at him innocently.

Kakashi couldn't stop listing down the similarities between Akari and this academy sensei throwing a passive-aggressive tantrum.

He was never going to forgive Umino for teaching her that.

But of course, right now he had other things to worry about. Like the fake-innocent chunin looking back at him from behind the mission desk.

The two other chunin, Izumo and Kotetsu, he believed, from all the times he had heard Iruka rant, groaned beside him.

"It's been only going on for a day but I already feel as if I am on the brink of my sanity," Kotetsu groaned. "Iruka, Kakashi-san, just get along already!"

"You talking this respectfully is creepy," Izumo hissed to Iruka.

"But I'm not doing anything wrong. Hatake-jonin is a rank above me. I am supposed to respect him and get out of my house whenever he pleases according to his convenience because of course! It's jonin who run the village, and we should always be grateful to the oh-so-great Hatake Kakashi, prodigy of our village. How dare I even look him in the eyes. Eye, I mean," Iruka drawled out.

"He's scaring me now," Kotetsu whispered.

"Yep, this is going to go on for at least another hour," Izumo groaned.

"It was important, I needed your house because you had already set up the seals there and-" Kakashi started before annoying chunin cut him off.

"And I must give you whatever you need because us chunin have nothing to do so you can just push them around. Like, how dare anyone even question the great legendary copy ninja Sharingan-no-Kakashi-"

"You really do never listen until I step up," Kakashi drawled, slight annoyance creeping into his voice, as he grabbed Iruka's arm. "Cover his shift," was all Izumo and Kotetsu heard before the two disappeared in a shunshin.

"... Should we go save Iruka?"

"...."

Both of them thought for a moment, before thinking of the amazing peacefulness they would gain back if the duo somehow miraculously resolved their conflict. The hopes of that miracle caused them to collectively shrug and drawl a nonchalant "Nah," and then go back to their duties.

"Several visual prowess work on a special kind of chakra circulating through the eyes of the user, like the Byakugan, Sharingan... hey I have that!" Akari exclaimed to herself as she walked around reading the book Kakashi had brought her as a congratulations for qualifying as his apprentice all those months ago.

The passerbys sweat-dropped seeing another person with a mask walking around the street reading a book.

They were only glad that it hadn't turn out to be Make-Out Paradise that the kid was reading.
