"Shadow clone jutsu!"

Akari blinked at the two Naruto's standing in front of her.

She clasped her hands in a similar hand sign. "Shadow clone jutsu!"

She blinked looking around her, seeing nothing happen. "Aw man," she mumbled.

"Shadow clone jutsu!" a third voice tried, and they looked at Konahamaru, who didn't succeed either.

It had been two weeks since Naruto and Sakura passed the bell test... with a weird tactic, but they passed nevertheless. One week since Kakashi sensei had been admitted to the hospital after they arrived back after saving Gaara. Two days since Naruto, Sakura, captain Yamato, and Sai, there new teammate who Akari felt she had heard of somewhere, returned after encountering Sasuke.

Akari wanted to take part in the bell test as well, but Kakashi denied and told her to observe them. He ordered her to trail them and track their moves, specifically the way Sakura infused chakra in her fists. According to him, with all the chakra training she had been doing and with the improvement she had found in her chakra since after appearing for the medics exam, she could probably pull it off.

Akari had been surprised that he knew about the medical ninja exam, or that she had wanted to infuse chakra in her fists like Sakura, but Kakashi only gave her a 'I'm your master, chibi. I know everything there is to know about you.'

Then he had to leave for a mission again. As soon as he got better. Naruto had been disappointed since he had wanted to train, so Kakashi asked Akari to help him learn how to cut a leaf with chakra, that she had learnt using Asuma's scrolls.

Akari in return asked for him to teach her 'Shadow Clone jutsu'.

Neither Naruto was succeeding in the first one, nor Akari in the second one.

Now Konahamaru and Akari were in a competition over who'd get their shadow clone jutsu down first, and Naruto... well he didn't really need anything, he was motivated as it was to bring Sasuke back.

And just like that, another week passed. Akari could now punch trees down. Naruto could now cut leaves with his chakra. Konahamaru could now make shadow clones that Akari horrendously failed at. All she managed were much, much tinier versions of herself. Shadow clones 1/100th of her size.

She kept on gathering information about combined attacks that you could do with wolf summons, only if she managed to bribe Eisaku into training with her, it would all work out.

-----------------

"Pathetic," an unimpressed drawl came from above her.

Akari wheezed as she tried to gain control of her breathing again. "B-But! I ran the fastest round so far!"

"Again."

"Hah!? Wait- no-"

Kakashi raised a challenging eyebrow, making Akari gulp. "No?" he repeated innocently. "Denying my order?" he tilted his head. Akari shook her head desperately.

"O-Of course not, master! But... You said only fifteen rounds-"

"And now I'm saying again," Kakashi growled, making the tiny Uchiha jump and hurriedly rush away.

Kakashi sighed, rubbing his forehead, looking at the blonde Yamanaka staring at the scene with her mouth hanging open.

"Maa, Sara-chan, why don't you join her for the last two rounds?"

Sara blinked. "Ah... okay..." she said hesitantly, before running after the Uchiha.

Another fifteen minutes later, Kakashi stood in the training field with two exhausted kunoichi panting in front of him, one lying on the ground from exhaustion, and the other barely standing up, just because she refused to get her clothes all dirty by doing something so silly.
