Austeled one-shots

Panic attack.

Tw panic attack, bullying, trauma.

Context: they're frenemies/distanced friends

Eteled was taken to an endless black void.

He tried to call out, but nothing came out. He looked around..

Nothing.

He gave up and got into a sitting position, even though there was no floor.

Suddenly, he started to hear laughter.

He once again tried to talk, nothing.

The laughter got louder and louder. It was almost deafening.

He started to panic.

The laughter reminded him of when he got bullied in school. He would just sit there and cry while everyone around him just laughed.

The laughing only got louder and he started to hyperventilate.

He hated it. Tears uncontrollably ran down his face.

He saw something blueish yet translucent in front of him. It said something on it but he couldn't read it because of the tears. He wiped them away as best as he could and read it

"Press this for help!"

He didn't know what it meant, but he was scared, so he pressed it and hid his head in his knees.

Austins/cms pov

I heard laughing, crying and hyperventilating. I opened my eyes and saw and empty blackness. My eyes focused more and I saw..

Eteled?

The laughing hurt my ears, but I ignored it.

"Eteled?" I called out

He looked up at me.

He was having a panic attack.

I dropped all ingstinct and pulled him close and loosely held him so he knew he wasn't trapped.

"Eteled, look at me. It's ok. You're okay. Your safe. You're protected. I'm here. I'm not going to hurt you, I promise." I cooed.

He looked at me, suprised. He was still crying, but his breathing was slower, still quick, but less.

I covered his (nonexistent) ears and whispered to him. I knew he couldn't hear me, but it had seemed to calm him down anyway.

Eventually the laughing stopped, so I uncovered his ears.

His breathing was back to normal and he had stopped crying.

He had semi-dried tears on his face, so I wiped them away with my thumb. I pulled him into an embrace, which he seemed to accept.

"Thank you.." He mumbled, soon falling asleep.
