Context: they're dating (they have phones)

3rd person

Austin and Eteled had recently had a massive fight, and neither were talking to the other.
Both of them were too stubborn to apologise to each other, but neither could take being apart from the other.

Eteleds pov

I was sat in my room, alone.
I looked down at my phone, sighing. Nothing.
I wanted to apologise, but I couldn't. I was too stubborn for that. I felt tears run down my face, softly falling against my shirt.

But I knew I'd cave first. I always do. Every argument. Every disagreement. I cave first. He's tougher than me. Always has been. I need him. I-

I stared at the screen, almost in shock. I hesitated for a moment on what do write.

I'm sorry too?
I forgive you?
I love you?
It's okay?

I stared down at my phone, tears streaming down my face.
I heard a *clank* beside me. I looked over to see Austin standing there, tears pouring from his eyes too.

We were both silent for a moment.
"I'm.. I'm sorry. For everything. I-I said some really shitty stuff and I'm really sorry. You didn't deserve that. And I'm sorry that I'm usually too stubborn to apologise. And-" He apologised, slowly getting more panicked and quick-paced as he spoke.

I cut him off, hugging him tightly. He didn't say anything and just hugged me back, crying into my shoulder.
"I forgive you." I mumbled into his ear.
He chuckled softly, slightly tugging on my shirt. I let go of him, taking his hand and pulling him onto the bed.

I cupped his head in my hands, wiping away his tears. He smiled softly, leaning into one of my hands, groaning quietly.

After a moment, he took my hands off of his face, placing them onto the soft bedsheets.

"I love you so much, you know that, right?" He asked.
"Of course I do, dumbass." I chucked. He laughed softly, looking down at me.

He took his hands off of mine, wrapping them around my waist and pulling me in close. He nuzzled into the crook of my neck, yawning quietly.

I lied down, pressing myself against the sheets. Austin moved himself slightly, positioning his head to rest against my chest.
I caressed his cheek with my thumb, making him blush a little.

"Love you." He mumbled.
"Love you too, darling." I replied.
