Pt. 6

Emily spits her food back into her bowl.

Emily: WHAT!
Tyler: Well Bryce thought I was the one that got you pregnant.
Taylor: You even kiss her I will kill you.
Tyler: Don't worry.
Emily: You'll have to worry about me if you try.
Jackson: I second that.
Jacob: Me too. Keep your lips to yourself.
Jaden: Why were you visiting Bryce anyway?
Taylor: Something Emily said got me thinking. Emily was his whole world whether he liked to admit it or not. So it wouldn't make any sense as to why he would hurt her.
Jaden: He'd flip out if she had a tear in her eye.
Emily: I'm right here!
Eddie: You get used to it.
Taylor: Em all I'm saying is you were his world his rock. It made no sense as to why he would hurt you.
Emily: I know...
Jaden: You don't need him.
Emily: I know-

The doorbell rings. Thomas gets up and answers it. He comes back and looks at Emily.

Thomas: He's insisting.
Emily: Who is it?
Thomas: Fuckboy.

Emily tries to get up and Jaden helps her to the door.

Emily: I don't want you out there.
Jaden: Em, please!
Emily: no let me speak to him.
Jaden: If he touches y-
Emily: You don't have to worry about that.

Emily walks outside and closes the door in Jaden's face.

Josh: I wanted to say I'm sorry.
Emily: Okay.
Josh: Em I wanted to start a family with you and get married one day. Finding out that my ex-best friend is the father of your baby is kinda fucked up in the matter.
Emily: Well I didn't ask to get pregnant.
Josh: Did he force...
Emily: No Josh. It happened after the party. I knew what was happening. I'm sorry. I never wanted to hurt you but you hurt me too.
Josh: I know and I regret it.
Emily: How's Nessa holding up?
Josh: I don't know actually.
Emily: Is that all you came here for?
Josh: Pretty much. I wanted to see what else I could do to get back in your good graces.
Emily: That will take time.
Josh: I have nothing but time.
Emily: Your face looks bad.
Josh: I lying to everyone.

Tyler walks outside and walks to Taylor's car.

Josh: He mean mugged me.
Emily: You'll get it a lot.

Tyler starts walking back to the porch and hits Josh. Emily pushes his head into the door making a bang sound.

Emily: Stop being an ass.
Tyler Says the one that was just mad at him like last week.

Jaden opens the door and sees Emily about to bang Tyler's head again.

Jaden: What the fuck did you do jackass?
Tyler: You aren't ever gonna get your chance.

Emily shoves him to the ground.

Emily: I don't like you.
Tyler: Same.

Emily crosses her arms over her stomach. Tyler gets up and shuts the door.

Jaden: You okay?

Jaden rushes to Emily's side. Josh just stands there in shock.

Josh: Damn.
Emily: Jaden I'm fine.
Jaden: Please don't do that.
Josh: What did he mean by you arent ever gonna get your chance?
Jaden: I don't know.

Emily backs away from Jaden and Josh and leans over the flower pot and pukes. Jaden holds her hair and rubs her back.

Emily: Ew morning sickness!
Josh: I haven't seen you be so overprotective in a while.
Jaden: You'll see that more often.
Josh: Well I'll talk to you later Em.
Emily: Bye josh.

Josh leaves and Emily leans against Jaden.

Jaden: Let's get you inside.
Emily: I'm hungry.
Jaden: Come on then.

Jaden gets Emily inside and she starts eating in the kitchen. Tyler comes and sits next to her.

Jaden: You must like getting your ass beat.
Tyler: I'm not the one that still protects that fuckboy out there.
Emily: Get away from me.
Tyler: A little note to self you aren't ever gonna get your chance.

Emily goes to go after him but Jaden holds Emily.

Jaden: Why do you keep saying that!
Thomas: You have about 5 seconds before she gets away from Jaden. Or he lets her go and comes after you himself.

Tyler walks out of the kitchen as Taylor is walking in.

Thomas: Taylor you better keep him on a leash.
Taylor: He deserves whatever he gets. Not my problem.

Jaden loosens the grip he has on Emily and she sits back down.

Emily: I don't like him.
Taylor: I don't think he likes you either.
Emily: I'm tired.
Jaden: Let's get you in bed.

Jaden walks Emily upstairs and Taylor walks over to where Thomas is standing.

Taylor: He treats her good.
Thomas: Yeah he does.
Taylor: It's just weird
Thomas: Like it doesn't feel real?
Taylor: Yeah.
Thomas: Felt you there.

The next day Emily wakes up and eats breakfast and sits outside when someone opens the door and sits next to her.

Bryce: isn't it lonely being out here by yourself?
Emily: It's peaceful.
Bryce: Jaden leave?
Emily: Yeah. He was gone when I woke up in the middle of night.
Bryce: So what are you gonna do when you have the baby?
Emily: I don't know.
Bryce: The fans keep asking where you have been and people are making conclusions.
Emily: About what?
Bryce: Some are saying rehab others saying a psychiatric ward.
Emily: Oh wow!
Bryce: Yeah. But I let them know you are doing fine just taking time off.
Emily: If I announce I'm pregnant it's gonna have to be yours. We just faked breaking up.
Bryce: You let me know what you do.
Emily: I'm sorry.

Emily starts crying. Bryce hugs her.

Bryce: Hey don't cry. It's okay.
Emily: No it's not. They find out it's not yours I'll get dragged like I always have.
Bryce: I'll say I cheated.
Emily: No I can't have you do that.
Bryce: Well just say it's Christians  I mean the time you've been pregnant is the same as when you were with him.
Emily: Okay...
Bryce: What?

Jaden walks out from the side of the house.

Jaden: It'll look like me and it won't be long till the people realize it's not Christian's.
Bryce: Lie that's the only way this will work.
Emily: It's not hard I've been doing it all my life.
Jaden: What do you mean by that?
Emily: This isn't my first secret relationship. Where you have to pretend you aren't dating.
Bryce: You keep surprising me Em.
Emily: In a good way or a bad way?
Bryce: Good way.

Thomas walks outside and asks for Bryce and they walk inside.

Jaden: I've been thinking...
Emily: What?
Jaden: We get a house together. Or you! But you and the baby stuff will be too much over here.
Emily: And we say what? That we are roommates? Someone else has to move in.
Jaden: Okay who?
