Something Different

Pt.23

They pull out of the Target and Ace holds Emily.

Jacob: Where too?
Jackson: Get her Starbucks?
Ace: Go to the beach. Jackson you know which one.
Emily: No I want to go home.
Jacob: Okay.

They go home and Emily cuddles up next to all her stuffed animals on her bed.

Thomas and them get home. Kristian walks into Emily's room.

Kristian: Em I'm sorry.
Emily: It's okay.

Emily pulls Kristian into a hug and she lays back down.

Emily: You guys are right. I should move on.
Kristian: Yeah. It would do you some good.
Emily: I'll go swimming with everyone.
Kristian: Okay we leave after dinner.
Emily: Okay.

Emily gets her swimsuit on and puts a shirt over with Jean shorts. She then walks downstairs and Thomas and Mia are making dinner. You go and help them.

After dinner, everyone helps clean up and do the dishes. 

Jacob: Ready?
Emily: Yeah.

Emily grabs her bag which has clothes and towels. They all get Jacob's car. Bryce is in the passenger. Ace, Emily, and Jackson are in the middle row. Kristian is in the back. About halfway through their car ride Emily leans against Ace and puts her legs on Jackson's lap. Jackson puts his hands on your legs and keeps scrolling through his phone.

Jacob: I gotta stop and get gas. Is anybody getting snacks and drinks?
Kristian: Sure.

Everyone gets out of the car and gets a ton of snacks and drinks. Emily and Jackson soon get back in the car. Kristian puts everything in the very back with him.

Ace, Bryce, and Jacob are still in the gas station

Kristian: Em. You're doing that thing.

Emily looks down and uncrosses her legs. She puts her head in her hands and slightly giggles.

Jackson: You good?
Emily: Yeah.

Kristian chuckles and leans back in his seat.

Jackson: Em it's okay to tell me.
Emily: You really wanna know?

All the boys got back in the car and get buckled.

Jacob: Ready?
Emily: Yeah.
Jackson: what were you saying?
Kristian: Don't worry. She didn't tell us about it. We caught on to it
Ace: What?

Ace looks down and slightly chuckles.

Emily: Stop it. You made it worse earlier.
Bryce: What?
Jacob: I'm so confused right now.
Emily: You can't make fun of me for it but I do this thing with my legs when I'm...
Jackson: You've been doing that all week.
Jacob: Someone is always in the mood.
Jackson: It was you I heard?

Jackson starts laughing and everyone joins in. Emily starts giggling and punches Jackson's arm.

Emily: Shut up.
Ace: You weren't as loud as I thought you were.
Bryce: Jackson said it was Kristian watching porn.
Kristian: That's what I told him.

They finally get to the lake they wanted to go to and theirs practically no one there.

Jacob: Ready?
Ace: Yeah.

They all find a place right next to the water and put down a couple of blankets and they all take their shirts off and jump in. Emily is the last one to jump in.

Jackson: It's not too cold.
Emily: No.

Bryce swims up behind Emily and hugs her.

Emily: If you're trying to throw me, please don't.
Bryce: Someone is in the mood remember.
Emily: Everyone is here.
Jackson: Better than being in the house.
Ace: Don't pressure her into anything.
Bryce: I know.
Emily: Hm maybe later.
