Pt. 88

Chreesh puts on a movie. About 20 minutes into it Emily hears a car door and gets up. She runs to the door and opens it.

She sees Jaden and runs into his arms. He picks her up and spins her around.

Emily: Hi.
Jaden: Where's Tayler?
Emily: Texas...
Jaden: Why?
Emily: Come inside and I'll tell you everything.
Jaden: Lead the way.

Emily leads Jaden inside to the kitchen and everyone stays in the living room. Tyler walks into the kitchen and stays with them.

After Emily tells Jaden everything he hugs her.

Jaden: Em why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you hit the button on your necklace?
Emily: I didn't want to worry you.
Jaden: I don't care if I'm in the middle of a tour. If you need me I will come.
Emily: Okay.
Tyler: Wait back up. Button on a necklace?
Emily: My necklace is a tracking device that activates when I push a button it.
Jaden: Think we both know why I got you that at the time I did.

Jaden scratches the back of his head and looks down.

Emily: Anyway... Have you seen him or talked to him?
Jaden: No. Have you asked Josh.
Emily: I don't keep up with them anymore.
Jaden: I can't ask him. Nessa and he have been talking again.
Emily: What?

Emily looks at him confused and then realized.

Jaden: What?
Emily: That's why she was hiding inside her apartment.
Jaden: You visited her?
Emily: When I got back from Nashville. I wanted to be on good terms with her. I almost died again. She didn't even care. All she cared about was if I had the baby!

Emily gets upset and Tyler sighs and looks down.

Tyler: This is what I've been waiting for.

Emily starts crying and pacing. Jaden goes to hug her and she smacks his hands away.

Emily: No.
Jaden: Em, please. Calm down.
Tyler: He is trying to help you.

Emily continues to cry and pace. Tyler tries to hug her and she pushes him away. She continues to push him away until they are in the living room.

Jaydan: What the fuck did you do to her?
Tyler: I didn't do anything.

Jaydan goes to hug Emily and she pushes him away too.

Jaydan: Em?
Rocky: Another panic attack?
Caden: No. She bottles her emotions in. She is a ticking time bomb.
Chreesh: Shut up she is right here.
Kayden: Just let her be. She will come around.
Lane: What if no one can calm her down?

Jaden walks into the living room and takes his hoodie off. He walks over to Emily and fights her trying to push him away. He puts the hoodie on her and she just looks down at her feet with the hood covering her face.

Jaden squats down so he can see her face and makes her look at him.

Jaden: Look at me, mama.

Emily makes eye contact with Jaden.

Jaden: He isn't coming hear. He sure as hell isn't gonna lay a finger on you and I will be damned if he hurts you.
Emily: How can you be so sure?
Jaden: Cause I'll call you every day. Starting tomorrow. Now wipe those tears cause he of all people doesn't deserve them.

Emily hugs Jaden and he holds her. The guys all look at Jaden with big eyes. Tyler smirks at the guys and walks over to Emily and Jaden.

Tyler: Thank you.
Jaden: I've seen enough of them.

Emily lets go of Jaden and go to the kitchen.

Rocky: How the fuck did you do that?
Jaden: It helps if she trusts you a lot. And I'm thinking the one she trusts the most is...
