Pt.49

Jaden opens the door and it's the last person he expected it to be.

Jaden: Um... Bryce!
Bryce H: Hey Jaden...
Jaden: What are you doing here? When did you get out?
Bryce: Earlier. I wanted to see how Emily was doing.
Jaden: How did you know where I live?
Bryce: Josh.
Jaden: Then you should know she lives in the hype house.

Emily hears their conversation as they walk further into the house. She starts silently crying.

Bryce: Yeah I know... I don't think she wants to see me.
Jaden: I think your right. I was just about to head to bed.

Jaden gets another knock on his door and he opens it.

Thomas: Jaden I know she's he- YOU! I knew you would come looking for her!
Jaden: Please tell me Kristian or Ace is with you.
Thomas: Yeah.

Thomas and Ace walk into Jaden's house and Thomas walks up to Bryce Hall.

Bryce Hall: I'm not looking for trouble.
Jaden: Ace look in the spare room.

Ace walks off and soon comes out with a crying Emily wrapped around him. She has her face buried in his neck. He has her luggage too.

Thomas: She doesn't need you in her life. You have fucked up her life enough. Guess who has been here for her? I have everyone at the house who has to.
Jaden: Em I'm sorry.
Emily: It's fine.
Ace: Stop saying everything is fine.
Bryce Hall: I just wanted to see how she was.

Emily gets down off Ace and goes to the door and Jackson is walking in. Emily runs to him and hugs him tightly. Jackson hugs her back and holds her tight.

Jackson: You fucking asshole!
Thomas: I don't want to see you anywhere near any of us.
Bryce Hall: What are you gonna do?
Jackson: Trust me you don't want to know. You ever come near her again and I'll kill you.
Emily: Jacks.
Jackson: No he doesn't get to come back into my baby's life.
Emily: I'm sorry about before.
Jackson: Don't be.
Bryce Hall: Your new boyfriend? Or is this one over here your boyfriend?

Jackson goes to walk over to Bryce Hall when Thomas punches him hard. He falls to the ground and Jaden stands by Thoms smirking.

Ace: For the record, she's my best fucking friend. Something she isn't to you anymore.
Jackson: It doesn't matter who she is dating. It's not gonna be you.

Jackson and Ace walk with Emily out to her car and Ace gets in the driver's seat. Thomas walks out shortly with his knuckles bloody and walks over to Emily's car. Emily and Jackson are still hugging outside the car.

Thomas: Are you okay? Josh texted me saying Bryce was asking about you and your location was on.
Jackson: I couldn't see that.
Emily: He can because I have him and Mia as my main people. I blocked everyone.
Thomas: I didn't know he got out.
Emily: Neither did I.
Thomas: Get her home.
Ace: I will.

Thomas walks over to his car and he drives off.

Jackson: You're sitting in the back with me.

Jackson and Emily both get in the back and Ace starts driving.

Emily: I'm sorry.
Jackson: Stop saying sorry.
Ace: You aren't leaving again.
Jackson: You can take as much time as you need at the house. If that means doing whatever with other guys then be it. You are right and we aren't together.
Emily: Are you sure?
Jackson: Em we aren't dating. I know Bryce was a little upset that you left.
Ace: Bryce likes having you around. He found comfort in you. He may still like you. I don't know he doesn't talk about that stuff.
Emily: Oh okay.
Jackson: Just please don't leave again.
Emily: Okay.

The rest of the car ride it's silent. They get back to the house and Ace grabs Emily's stuff while she stays in the car. Jackson stands on the outside of the car with that door open.

Jackson: Em.
Emily: Bryce begged me and I didn't stay for him. I didn't stay for you. I didn't stay for anyone.
Jackson: Em
Emily: I didn't stay for anyone.

A car pulled up and Blake gets out of the car. Emily gets out and hugs him.

Blake: I didn't know he was out. Jaden called.
Emily: I'm fine are you okay?
Blake: Some bruising but I'm worried about you.

Jackson locks Emily's car and before he can walk away Blake stops him.

Blake: Thank you.
Jackson: For what?
Blake: For staying by her side.
Jackson: It's nothing.
Emily: We always come back to each other.
Blake: You treat her right. She's a keeper. Don't doubt her and she is always right!

Emily smacks Blake's arms and she giggles.

Blake: Ow!
Jackson: Yeah I kinda figured that out.
Blake: You call if he shows up.
Emily: I will.
Blake: Okay. I have to go pick up dinner.
Emily: How's my baby?
Blake: She's a little shaken. But she's doing okay... You know there is an SUV parked out front?
Emily: Blonde guy in the driver?
Blake: Yeah.
Emily: It's Phillip. He has been assigned my case. Jaden called him out to the warehouse. He was not on the clock.
Blake: Sounds like he likes you.
Jackson: He's gonna have to fight me.
Emily: Yeah.

Blake hugs Emily one last time before he leaves and Jackson opens his arms and Emily hugs him.

Jake: You know you are so bipolar?
Emily: Leave me alone!
Jake: You are!
Emily: I know.
Jackson: Matches me.
Emily: Matches you.

They all go inside and Emily walks to the kitchen and hugs Bryce from behind. Jackson goes upstairs.

Bryce turns around and hugs her. He places his head on her chest and hugs her tightly.

Jacob: You have a magic touch.
Emily: I have a gentle touch.

Emily holds Bryce and Jackson walks into the kitchen and slightly smiles at Emily.

Thomas: Where Kristian?
Ace: At a girl's house.

While the guys are talking Bryce pulls Emily onto his lap so she straddles him.

Jackson: Em have you eaten dinner?
Emily: Yeah. Jaden and I cooked.
Ace: Tweety bro she's not going anywhere.
Bryce: Just shut up.
Emily: He just needs a hug.

Emily moves closer to Bryce cause she was slipping and Bryce lightly gasps where only Emily can hear.

Emily: Wanna go watch anime?
Bryce: Yes, please.
Emily: I'll hang out with you guys tomorrow.

Emily gets up and they go up to Bryce's room. Once they are in Bryce's room Emily finds one of her stuffed animals that Bryce gave her on his bed. She sits on the bed and opens her arms. Bryce crawls over her and lays in between her legs and lies his head on her chest.

Emily: Bryce.
Bryce: Hm
Emily: I'm not stupid. I can feel it.
Bryce: Sorry.
Emily: It's okay.

Emily turns Bryce's tv on and picks an anime. While they are watching the tv Bryce turns over and brings Emily to his chest so her body is on him and the other half is off.

Bryce: Please don't leave again.
Emily: I'm not going anywhere.

Emily watches anime with Bryce for about 30 minutes until she gets up.

Bryce: Watch this tomorrow?
Emily: Yeah.

Emily hugs Bryce and she walks out of his room. She goes downstairs to the kitchen and gets a glass of water.
While she is in the kitchen Kristian walks through the backdoor.
