Pt.19

After dinner, Wendy goes to her room.

Taylor: You doing okay?
Emily: I would like to go back to L.A.
Taylor: This is your home.
Emily: BRYCE WAS MY HOME...

Emily looks away and gets tears in her eyes.

Taylor: Em...
Emily: Don't. I want to give him the letter. Where is it?
Taylor: I have it.
Emily: I want to go back.

Thomas walks over to them.

Thomas: Em. Come here.

Emily hugs Thomas and starts crying. Then is when Taylor realized that taking Emily to Texas was a mistake. He made her get into bad habits.
Taylor walks upstairs and you don't see him for the rest of the night.

Thomas: He hurt you. He doesn't deserve your tears.
Emily: I miss him.
Thomas: I know.

Thomas glides Emily to the couch and hugs her again. Shortly after she's asleep.

Thomas carries her to her room and Ace and Kristian stat with her.

Ace: I'll sleep on the floor.
Kristian: What no.

Emily pulls both boys into bed and she falls back asleep in between them.

Kristian: Theirs your answer.
Ace: I guess it is.

The boys fall asleep. The next morning Bryce walks into Emily's room to see Emily sprawled out on Kristian and Ace against the wall holding Emily's hand.

Bryce: Ace.

Bryce walks to the end of the bed and shakes Ace's leg. He wakes up and lets go of Emily's hand.

Ace: hm.
Bryce: Thomas needs your help.

Ace gets up and goes downstairs with Bryce.

Ace: Thomas what did you need?
Thomas: Wendy is still asleep. We're gonna be nice and cook.
Bryce: Emily is out cold. And we can thank Kristian for that.
Thomas: Okay well let's start making breakfast.

Taylor walks down the stairs.

Taylor: You guys do know Emily is asleep on Kristian?
Ace: Yeah. She says he's the best hugger.
Taylor: Keep him around.
Ace: We don't plan on going anywhere
Thomas: What was up with you last night?
Taylor: Nothing.

Taylor walks to the kitchen and they start cooking.

With Emily and Kristian upstairs. Kristian wakes up and realizes Emily is laying on top of him. He grabs his phone and starts watching Tiktoks.

After about 15 minutes Emily wakes up and sits up.

Kristian: Well good morning.
Emily: Mh.

Emily lays back down on Kristian's chest.

Kristian: You gonna get up?
Emily: No.
Kristian: Thomas and Ace are making breakfast.
Emily: No.

Emily moves closer to Kristian's neck and cuddles him.

Kristian: Are you still tires?
Emily: Yes. I'm comfy. You're comfy.

Emily looks at Kristian and she leans in. Kristian kisses Emily and pulls away.

Kristian: Better?
Emily: Yeah.

They get up and go downstairs. Emily walks over to Ace and hugs him from behind.

Bryce: Someone is up.
Emily: No.
Jacob: I have realized you aren't a morning person.
Thomas: Wait until she has her coffee.
Taylor: You used to be a morning person.
Emily: Not anymore.
