Pt. 108

Jaden: You! What the fuck are you doing here?
Nessa: I came to see if she's alright.
Jaden: Well she doesn't want you here.
Nessa: She doesn't even know I'm here.
Jaden: She doesn't really know who is here. They have her on pain medication and she's tied down to her bed.
Nessa: What? Why? What happened?

Jaydan stands up and Lane holds him back.

Jaydan: No you don't get to come in here all worried like you didn't just practically tell her to kill herself at the party!

Lane stands up and puts a hand on his chest.

Jaden: She doesn't want you here.
Nessa: You don't know that! That's the dude from the party she was with when she was supposed to be with you.
Jaden: Don't bring him into this.

Josh stands up and lightly guides Jaden to sit. He pulls Nessa aside and tells her everything. Chase arrives and he gets let in on what's going on he sits by Nick.

Hours and hours pass by and it's time for them to leave.

Doc April: I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you guys to leave. Visiting hours are over.
Nick: We never even got to see her.
Doc April: We will see tomorrow if she can be released but she needs therapy.
Blake: Do you know who you're talking about?
Doc April: I do. I've been treating her for a long time now.

Everyone goes outside. They all gather around the cars.

Thomas: You guys are more than welcome at Hype if you don't want to go back to Tayler's.
Lane: Thanks, man.
Rocky: We appreciate it.
Konnor: How long is it gonna take?
Jaden: It can take anywhere from 24 hours to weeks. It just depends on how she does.
Mia: I think everyone needs something to eat and showers. We will all come back up in the morning and see any updates.
Jaden: I'm staying here.
Nick: Come on man she wouldn't want you to do this.
Blake: Jaden. Come on we will come back up here tomorrow.
Jaden: No I'm not leaving.
Josh: Neither am I.
Nessa: Josh.
Josh: No she needs to know someone is here for her. Jaden was here by her side the whole time after they got out. She needs us.
Jaden: Sadly to say this. Josh is right.
Mia: Then I'll be up here first thing in the morning so you guys can go home and shower and try and get some sleep.
Noah: Where is Tyler? Didn't he drop you guys off?
Rocky: Yeah.
Jaydan: Who knows at this point?

They all go their separate ways. The next day Mia comes up around 7:30 with Thomas and the boys go home and shower.

They do that for about 3 weeks with no visitation. Emily starts asking for them and asking but the Doctor says no.

Doc April: Emily. It's time for lunch.
Emily: I don't want to eat.
Doc April: Emily you haven't really eaten anything since you've got here. I don't want to keep you longer than I have to.
Emily: I'm not hungry. Can we just do my therapy session?
Doc April: I suppose we can.

Emily and Doctor April leave the room and start walking to her therapist's room. They get there and Emily sits in the room waiting on Doctor Bailey.

The door opens and Emily stays sitting there until they step in front of her. She looks up and they sit next to her.

Emily: What are you doing here?
Phillip: I kept nagging them to talk to you about our 'investigation'
Emily: How is everyone?
Phillip: You can barely get them to leave the waiting room... Tayler got faced with assault charges and his court in a couple of days.
Emily: I don't want to talk about him.

Emily looks down and Phillip brings her to him and she lays on his shoulder. It

Phillip: I'll start paying more close attention. I'm sorry he's being this way.
Emily: I don't care. He's not my family. How's Jaden? I miss him.
Phillip: Josh and He barely leaves the parking lot. They miss you. Josh and Blake cried. That other Jaydan dude hasn't said much none of them have... Um
Emily: What?
Phillip: Nessa showed up the day of and has been coming up every day.
Emily: WHAT!

Emily stands up and starts pacing. Phillip scoots to the edge of the couch and places his hands on her arms and has her stand in front of him.

Phillip: Lil bug.

Emily stops and looks down at him as he pulls her sleeve out of her mouth and sits her down on the table in front of him. Emily holds his hands in her lap.

Emily: You haven't called me that since I was 12
Phillip: I haven't needed to. Calm down.

Emily nods and takes deep breaths as Doc April comes in. She sees the 2 of them.

Doc April: Officer Jordan! This is very unprofessional!
Phillip: Nothing is going on. I haven't done anything unprofessional. Emily, are you uncomfortable? Do I need to leave?
Emily: No and No.
Doc April: Well you can't be in here when she talking to her therapists. It's confidential.
Phillip: Ma'am I know.

Phillip stands up and Emily grabs his hands again.

Emily: Don't leave, please!
Doc April: Emily he has to leave and get back to work. Let him go!

April goes to walk over when Phillip stops her and helps Emily stand up.

Phillip: She's coming with me. I'll bring her back. The nurse said she has had visitation for a week.
Emily: I've had what!
Doc April: I've just been doing what I thought was best for her.

Phillip shakes his head and starts walking with Emily out of the room to the elevators.

They go out the back way to where his car is parked and he opens the door for her.

Emily: Thank you.
Phillip: Welcome.

They start driving and Phillip drives to Canes.

Phillip: Have you been eating?
Emily: ...
Phillip: Well let's change that.
Emily: Why are you doing this?
Phillip: I care for you Em. And I've been checking up on you every day.
Emily: How come I haven't been told any of this?
Phillip: I don't know but your Doctor is a bitch.
Emily: I know.

They get Canes and eat in the car and drive around.

Phillip: You should be released soon.
Emily: Doubt it. April said she may have to keep me longer.
Phillip: That's fucking bullshit!
Emily: I know. Tell me about it. The food is shitty. I hate my clothing. I can't have a proper bra!
Phillip: I can see why Em.
Emily: Shut up. I never wanted to die...
