Pt.50

While she is in the kitchen Kristian walks in through the back door and Jackson walks in the kitchen and stands next to Emily.

Emily: Finally decide to come back?
Kristian: When did you get home?
Jackson: Earlier.
Kristian: Something happened?
Emily: Hall got out and found me at Jaden's.
Kristian: Em I'm sorry I wasn't here.
Emily: It's okay. I'm okay now.
Kristian: I'm gonna head to bed.

Kristian leaves the kitchen and Jackson hugs Emily from behind.

Jackson: Why'd you run?
Emily: I didn't want you to leave.
Jackson: I filmed that for a bit on YouTube.
Emily: You asshole.

Emily crosses her arms and Jackson turns her around and hugs her again.

Jackson: I was mad and I was gonna leave but I used it as a youtube bit instead.
Emily: I'm mad at you now.
Jackson: Em. I'm sorry.
Emily: Sorry isn't gonna cut that one.

Jackson hugs Emily tighter and leans against the counter.

Jackson: I'm sorry. And I will continue to say sorry.
Emily: I know... I wanna take a shower.
Jackson: Okay.

Emily walks up to her bathroom and takes a shower. Once she's done showering she sits on her bed with a towel on. Her phone rings and it's Hall.

              ✨On the phone✨

Emily: H-Hello?
Bryce Hall: Em please let me talk.
Emily: Tell me one good reason why I shouldn't hang up.
Bryce Hall: I don't have one. I didn't ever mean to hurt you.
Emily: You lose all contact with me.

Emily walks to Jackson's room and sits on his lap.

Jackson: Em?
Bryce Hall: You know I can't do that.
Emily: Lose my number.
Jackson: Is that Hall?
Emily: Yeah...

Jackson takes the phone and puts it on speaker.

Jackson: You almost killed her. You're lucky that there were people around. I suggest you lose her number or I'm gonna find you and I'm gonna beat the shit outta you.
Bryce Hall: Emily you know I'm the only one for you.
Emily: I never said I was dating anyone and you aren't for me anymore.
Jackson: She's my best friend and if you hurt her I'll hurt you.

             ✨End of call ✨

Jackson hangs up on Bryce and hugs Emily. Emily hugs him back.

Jackson: If he calls you again let me know.
Emily: Okay.
Jackson: He isn't the one for you. I don't even know if I am.
Emily: I don't know if anyone is the one for me.
Jackson: Bryce might be.
Emily: Or you.
Jackson: How about you get dressed?

Emily looks down and she's straddling Jackson's lap and her towel has ridden up. She looks back up at Jackson and someone walks in.

Ace: WOAH!

Ace turns around and Emily giggles.

Ace: Could've warned me.
Emily: Were not doing anything.
Ace: Well the way you guys are situated says otherwise.
Jackson: I wish but Hall called her.
Ace: That asshole.

Ace turns back around and Jackson draped one of his jackets over Emily's shoulders and moves her towel down.

Emily: He's an ass.
Jackson: Yeah.
Ace: Could've told you that.
Emily: I think I'm gonna go get dressed now. You guys can talk.
Ace: You know what it's not important. I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Ace walks out and closes the door behind him and Jackson tightens the grip he has on Emily's hips.

Jackson: Don't leave just yet.
Emily: Why not? I have to get dressed.
Jackson: You're dressed enough.

Emily smiles and shakes get head. Jackson pulls her in for a kiss and pulls her closer. Jackson deepens the kiss and moves them to the bed. Jackson hovers over Emily and kisses her neck.

Emily: Jacks I can't

Jackson gets off of Emily and sits next to her. He helps her sit up and she looks down.

Jackson: Hey it's okay. I didn't mean to put you in an uncomfortable position.
Emily: No it's fine.

Emily kisses Jackson one last time before leaving and getting dressed in her room. Once she's dressed she goes to sleep.

The next morning Emily wakes up to someone shaking her.

Emily: What?
Bryce: Nick is downstairs.
Emily: I wanna sleep.
Bryce: You can sleep later.
Emily: Hm.

Bryce looks at Jackson that's at the door.

Bryce: Jackson is naked.
Emily: What?

Emily sits up and Jackson starts laughing. Bryce laughs and Jackson walks over to Emily.

Jackson: You thought I was naked?
Emily: No...

Emily sits up.

Emily: Hm.
Bryce: Paige made you coffee.
Emily: Take me downstairs so nick doesn't kill Jackson.
Jackson: He almost.

Emily gets on Bryce's back and they walk downstairs.

Nick: You look grumpy.
Emily: Hm.
Bryce: She hasn't had her coffee yet.

Bryce walks to the kitchen with Emily. He sets her down and she makes her coffee. Once she's done she stares at Bryce.

Bryce: What?
Emily: Are we gonna talk about last night?
Bryce: No.
Emily: Bryce.
Bryce: I don't wanna talk about it.

Emily puts her arms up in surrender and walks to the living room.

Nick: I never called. I got busy.
Emily: It's okay.
Nick: Have you talked to Chase recently?
Emily: No.
Nick: Since the last time we were there Landon and Charli have been getting close.
Emily: What?
Nick: I was hanging out with Chase.
Emily: They are living together!
Nick: Nope hasn't been for about a year. Landon was just hanging out
Emily: He's a player.

Nick and Emily walk to the kitchen and sit at the table.

Nick: Chase made a song about it.
Emily: He did?

Nick shows her the song.

Emily: I'm gonna say anything cause I have homie hopped a couple of times.
Nick: I didn't know if you have seen it or not.
Emily: No I haven't.

They talk for a while until Nick has to leave. Emily walls him out to his car that's by the gate.

Emily: Why'd you park so far?
Nick: I didn't know if you were awake and I wanted it to be a surprise.
Emily: Oh.
Nick: If Hall calls you let me know.
Emily: A lot of people have been saying that.
Nick: He shot you Em.
Emily: I know.

Emily hugs Nick and he gets in his car and leaves. Emily decides to check the mail and when she's checking the mail a car comes from the opposite side of the street that Nick just left. They park behind Emily and get out. They walk over to Emily.

Emily: Are you fucking crazy?
Bryce Hall: Emily just come with me!
Emily: No!

Christian gets out of the car and Emily panics.

Emily: NO!
Bryce Hall: Please.
Emily: No. Get away from me!!

Emily drops the mail and backs up until she hits the gate. Christian smirks and sits on the hood of the car. Bryce Hall starts walking over to Emily when Philip pulls in front of Emily. He gets out of the car and aims his gun at Christian and his partner aims hers at Bryce Hall.

Phillip: Hands up!
Christian: You're really stupid thinking I'm Christian!
Emily: You mother fucker!
Will: You think my brother didn't know that there were cops following you?

Phillip and his partner get Bryce and Will in the back of that squad car.
