Pt. 116

Emily: You of all people should know not to put their hands on me.

Josh takes Jaden's hands off of her and she checks the spot. There is a bruise forming from Buddy.

Josh: Who did that?
Jaden: Em I'm sorry.
Emily: Who do you think put that there?

Emily puts her arm down and sits at the table. Josh puts his hands up at Jaden and follows her. He pulls out a chair and sits beside her.

Josh: Where do you feel most comfortable staying?
Emily: I don't even know at this point.
Josh: Have you wanted to visit somewhere?
Emily: Hawaii.
Jaden: So you're suggesting she travels?
Josh: Yeah.
Emily: Why?
Josh: He can't get you if he doesn't know where you are.
Emily: He's an officer. He has friends Josh!
Josh: None that are gonna kidnap you. They are gonna wanna keep their job.
Emily: And how are you so sure?
Josh: If I have to go with you and be by your side 24/7 then so be it.

Jaden squats in front of Emily and tries taking her hands and she pulls them away.

Emily: No I'm upset with you. You don't get to touch me.

Emily stands up and walks out of the kitchen with them following her.

Jaden: Em I'm sorry.
Emily: Sorry isn't gonna cut it right now.

Emily continues walking in the living and Jaden continues to follow her. He lightly grabs her arm and stops her. He turns her around and she smacks his hands off her.

Emily: You don't get to touch me Jaden.
Josh: No keep going I wanna see this!
Emily: Shut up Josh!

Josh chuckles and leans against the kitchen door frame. The guys in the living room sit back and watch.

Jaden: Em I didn't mean to. You know I wouldn't hurt you. I could never hurt you.
Emily: Yeah well you did and you don't get to touch me.

Emily takes her hands from Jaden and he grabs them back. He gives her little puppy dog eyes and she almost gives in. She turns around and he lightly puts his hands on her hips and looks around at her.

Emily: Jaden.
Jaden: You aren't stopping me.

Emily then realizes she has an audience and moves away from him. She looks at him and he smirks. She walks over to the couch where Kayden and Rocky are and sits in between them.

Josh: Boo. I wanted to see fighting.
Emily: Haven't you seen enough?
Josh: No.
Jaden: What did you expect to happen?
Josh: I don't know.

Rocky looks at Emily and she looks up at him.

Rocky: You need sleep baby.
Emily: I'm fine.
Rocky: No you aren't.

Josh and Jaden keep talking as everyone else starts talking to each other.

Kayden: When was the last time you got a full night's sleep?
Emily: The night before cause I was cuddled up to Lane all night.
Rocky: Wanna sleep in my room?
Emily: No I miss my bed.

Rocky and Kayden start laughing. Emily rolls her eyes at them and gets up. She walks over to Josh and Jaden by the kitchen.

Emily: Are you guys leaving or staying?
Josh: I can stay.
Jaden: It was his idea and I have meetings in the morning.
Emily: Josh you sleep where ever.
Josh: I'm kidding.
Emily: So you just suggested I stay with one of you then when I stay here you guys both leave.
Jaden: On second thought I think I can stay.
Emily: Go.

Emily walks them out and Josh drives off before Jaden.

Jaden: You know you can't stay mad at me forever.
Emily: Shut up.
Jaden: I know you can't stay mad at me.
Emily: Oh really! What makes you think that?
