Pt.18

Emily: You know this isn't how I imagined you guys coming down here.
Jackson: What do you mean?
Emily: I may have been using you guys and I'm sorry but you guys are all so cute.
Ace: I guess we are being honest?
Emily: Jacks please don't be mad.
Jackson: What?
Emily: I've had this thing with Ace and Kristian since before you guys moved in.
Ace: Way before we ever started hanging out with Hype.
Jackson: Oh.
Emily: Sorry.
Jackson: It's fine. I got one kiss.
Emily: You were just jealous the other day with Ace and me.
Jackson: I was surprised and shocked more than anything.

Emily pulls Jackson into a hug.

Emily: Ace and I are gonna go downstairs. You fix your little problem.
Jackson: It's already gone.
Ace: Well let's go. We don't need your mom hating us.
Emily: Trust me she doesn't.
Jackson: She doesn't.
Emily: You heard my mom?
Jackson: What didn't we hear.

They walk downstairs and Ace is tickling Emily and she's laughing and squealing.

Emily: Ace quit it!
Ace: Okay okay.
Jackson: You step on my foot one more time I'm gonna throw you in the pool.

Emily steps on his toes and starts running. Jackson runs after her and finally throws her over his shoulder and starts walking outside.

Wendy: Don't hurt my daughter.
Thomas: They do this all the time.

Jackson goes to throw Emily in when she takes him down with her. When they resurface the water Emily splashes him.

Jackson: Emily!
Emily: That's what you get.

The boys walk outside. Ace goes to help Emily out of the pool and she pulls him in too.

Ace: EM!
Jackson: Is this what you do when your home?
Emily: No not really cause I don't have you guys.

Emily gets out of the pool and walks over to Jacob. She looks up at him.

Emily: Please.
Jacob: No.
Emily: Please!
Bryce: Yeah get in the pool buddy.
Emily: Bryce
Bryce: No.

Emily takes both of the boy's hands and starts dragging them. Kristian walks behind them and shoves them into the pool. Emily then looks at Kristian and holds out her hand. They both jump in together.

Thomas: This is great content.
Wendy: I'm not cleaning any of the mess.
Vinnie: Would you like help with anything?
Wendy: I'm taking Taylor and Tyler to the store with me. Would you like to come?
Vinnie: I would love to Ms. Holder.
Wendy: Please call me mom or Wendy.
Vinnie: Okay.

Wendy, Vinnie, Taylor, and Tyler leave.

Thomas: I'm gonna go get some towels.
Emily: They are in the cupboard by my door. Then there is more in my bathroom.
Thomas: Okay.

Thomas walks inside.

Emily: We have room for you guys. Thomas is likely to sleep in the back shed we converted into a little house.
Jackson: Who's sleeping in your room?
Emily: if anyone is sleeping in my room it's on the floor.
Jacob: Nice try buddy.
Emily: Besides. 2 people can sleep inside. The rest is out here.
Ace: Kristian and I.
Bryce: Damn dude.
Emily: I can show you around.
Kristian: Okay.

Thomas comes back with the towels. When Emily gets out of the pool she takes her shirt and pants off and wraps herself in the towel.

Emily: Just take everything off besides your underwear, please.
Thomas: I don't think Taylor and your mom would approve of their clothes on the ground with yours.
Jackson: We can hope that they don't think that.
Jacob: You think like that.
Jackson: Shut up.

They get their luggage and Emily shows them where they would be staying and then shows Ace and Kristian the spare room.

Ace: So we are right next to your room.
Emily: Yeah. My mom's room is downstairs and Taylor's is down the hall. At the end of the hall.
Kristian: So we are the closest.

Emily looks at the boys.

Emily: What do you have in mind?
Kristian: nothing.

Emily rolls her eyes and turns around.

Ace: I would cover your hickey's while you're in there.
Emily: Cover yours.

Emily closes her door. Everyone gets dressed and hangs out in the living room.

Wendy: Emily go help your brother.
Emily: Okay

Emily walks outside and Taylor is holding a box.

Emily: What's that?
Taylor: Open it.

Taylor puts the box down and she goes to open it when Vinnie comes over to her.

Emily: What?
Taylor: Open the box.
Emily: What's in the box.
Vinnie: We know you have a hard time talking to people.

Emily opens the box and sees like 15 burns after writing books.

Tyler: so we all got you these books.
Emily: You guys didn't have to.
Taylor: I don't want you to keep having nightmares.

They all walk inside and everyone is eating. Emily takes the box and walks upstairs. Once she gets upstairs and puts her box down on her bed Jacob walks into the room.

Emily: Yea?
Jacob: I'm glad you're okay.
Emily: Did I scare you?
Jacob: Yeah.

Jacob sits down on Emily's bed and his head is down. Emily walks over to Jacob and hugs him.

Emily: I'm not going anywhere.

Thomas walks into the room.

Thomas: That's where you guys went... Jacob, what's wrong?
Jacob: I can't lose you.
Thomas: That's why we are here.
Emily: I'm not going anywhere. I don't want to.
Thomas: Your mom wants to know what you want for dinner.
Emily: I don't care. I'm gonna start here for a couple more minutes.
Thomas: Okay.

Thomas leaves the room and Jacob tightens his grip around Emily.

Emily: I'm not going anywhere.
Jacob: Promise me you'll stop drinking, the running away.

The boys come into the room.

Jackson: All of it, please.
Ace: There is nothing you can tell us that will push us away.
Bryce: We aren't going anywhere.
Kristian: When we became friends we became your family.
Emily: okay.
Jacob: I get we all have a different relationship with each other but we aren't going anywhere.
Thomas: You'll have to be patient with her. Give her time.
Emily: I don't open up to just anyone.
Bryce: We know.
Thomas: She will open up to Mia first and then to whoever she wants to next.

Jacob tightens his grip even more on Emily then he lets go and stands up. They all go downstairs.

Wendy: You guys hungry?
Taylor: Yea.
Wendy: We're gonna have hamburgers and hotdogs. Tyler and Taylor get the grill started.

Taylor and Tyler go outside. Thomas, Wendy, and Emily go and cook.
