Something Different

Pt.17

Once she gets you the road she sees headlights in the distance and it becomes blurry. She then passes out right before the car passes.

Emily wakes up in a car and freaks out. She starts kicking and punching and screaming.

Tyler: Hey it's me. Emily, it's me Tyler!

Emily realizes it's Tyler and relaxes. She falls back against him.

Taylor: Emily what did you drink?
Emily: What didn't I drink.
Tyler: Em focus. Taylor, she's way too drunk.
Taylor: Well she didn't drink fireball.
Tyler: How do you know?
Taylor: One she isn't naked and flirting with you.
Tyler: Okay then.
Emily: I don't wanna go home.
Taylor: Trust me I'm not taking you home. Tyler gets her to drink water. Please.

They drive around til Tyler can get Emily almost all the way sober.

Emily: You're lucky I have no strength to push me away from you.
Tyler: Trust me I don't like you being this close to me either.

Taylor finally stops in an empty parking lot.

Taylor: Em you have to tell me what's going on?
Emily: I'm fine.
Taylor: GOD DAMN IT EMILY WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?

Taylor punches the steering wheel and Emily cowards down and starts crying. She moves towards the door and gets out. She grabs her bag too. She then stumbles back and then gets up and starts running. She's gone in minutes.

Tyler: Good Job finding her now you fucking dumbass!

Emily runs and runs until she collapses blocks away from where her brother is. She falls against the wall in an alley. She holds her chest not being able to breathe.

Emily gets her phone out and calls Thomas.

✨On the phone✨

Thomas: Em? Are you okay?
Emily: P-p-please.
Thomas: Em breathe. Where are you?
Emily: H-Hurry.
Thomas: I'm already on the plane. I'll be there soon. Em.
Emily: I-am not g-going back until y-your he-he-here.
Thomas: Em ill be there tomorrow. Please where are you?
Emily: I'll be somewhere.

Emily finally starts getting her breathing under control.

Thomas: Em, please. Tell me.
Emily: Not until your here.
Thomas: Em everyone is looking at me.
Emily: I can't go back to the boathouse they were already checking there.
Thomas: Em, please.
Emily: I'll tell you when you are here. Don't tell anyone though.
Thomas: Okay fine I won't.

✨End of a phone call✨

Emily starts walking to her old hang-out in the woods. She goes to the little house by the pond. Everything is still intact. Taylor doesn't know where it is either.

She gets on the couch and starts falling asleep.

The next morning Emily wakes up early and has missed calls from everyone. She grabs her bag and starts walking up to the road when she gets a call from Ace.

✨On the phone✨

Emily: Well Hi baby!
Ace: I'm out here driving your car. Where are you?
Emily: I'm just getting on the main road.
Ace: Em.
Emily: I'll send you my location but I swear if you are with my brother or Tyler I will never trust you.
Kristian: It's just me Em.
Emily: It better be or you will be sorry.

✨End of phone call ✨

Emily sends Ace her location and sits against a tree until she sees her car pull up. Once her car pulls up Ace and Kristian get out and pull Emily into a big hug.
