Pt.20

Thomas puts his camera away as they are pulling into the longest driveway ever.

Thomas: So are you guys back to fake dating?
Emily: I don't know.
Bryce: No clue.
Jacob: The fans would love it.
Kristian: There are already edits of Ace and Emily.
Emily: Why does it matter. I'm not dating anyone. I'm not ready.
Bryce: No one is pressuring you.
Jackson: You do better in fake relationships than in real ones.
Emily: Can we drop it.

They continue to drive down the driveway and shortly after they make it to the boathouse and lake.

Emily: Good we're here.

Emily opens the door and jumps off of Bryce's lap and walks to the dock. She takes her shorts and shirt off and jumps straight in.

The boy follows her in and Thomas starts on the dock.

They swim and joke around for practically the whole day.

Emily: I'm gonna go change in the boat house.
Jackson: By yourself?
Emily: Yeah.
Thomas: Please don't. Get changed in the truck. Guys turn around.
Emily: Okay.

Emily takes the keys and goes to the truck. She gets dressed and gets out of the truck.

Thomas: all good?
Emily: Yea.

Everyone gets packed up and Jacob sits in the front. Emily sits on both Bryce and Ace. Sitting next to Ace is Jackson then Kristian in the seat behind the driver.

Thomas brings out his camera again and Jacob starts filming for him.

Thomas: Lake day is done.

Everyone cheers and Emily lays back on Bryce's shoulder.

Jacob: I Won chicken against Ace and Bryce.
Emily: Rephrase that! I won thank you!
Ace: Bryce let you win.
Jackson: He did.
Kristian: Well that's no fun.
Thomas: And I got it all on Camera.
Emily: Rematch.

Emily smacks Bryce and he laughs.

Bryce: I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you.
Ace: You better be hoping she doesn't hurt you.

Emily moves to Kristian and bee back is against the back driver's door. Her legs are on Jackson and Ace.

Bryce: Come on I'm sorry. Okay, we can have a rematch.
Emily: Nope I'm not moving.
Jacob: Oh damn she's mad at you.

They continue filming for about 15 more minutes then put the camera up when Emily lays her head in the crook of Kristian's neck and falls asleep.

When they get back to Wendy's Kristian carries Emily inside and puts her in her room and goes downstairs.

Ace: I'm not surprised she fell asleep.
Thomas: Why?
Kristian: She had a rough night. She kept waking up.
Ace: A couple of times she was crying.
Kristian: She would gasp and sit up real quick.
Thomas: Can you guys sleep in there tonight it seems when she's alone s-

Emily screams and Thomas runs up the stairs and to her room where he finds her with her knees up to her chest and she's crying. Taylor walks in and tries to bring her to him and she flips out again.

Emily: NO GETAWAY!

Taylor gets up and backs away from Emily.

Taylor: It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you, sis.
Emily: Get out!
Taylor: Em.
Emily: Get out! You were there in the house when I confronted Bryce, weren't you.

Wendy walks into the room.

Wendy: Taylor?
Taylor: Em, please.
Thomas: Were you?
Emily: Don't make me call Josh.
Taylor: Em, please.

Emily gets her phone out and calls Josh.

              ✨On the phone✨

Josh: Hello?
Emily: Joshy...
Josh: What's wrong? Are you okay? I heard you were in Texas.
Emily: Please don't lie to me.
Josh: Em you're scaring me, baby.
Thomas: The day Emily got shot was Taylor there?
Josh: Yeah. He was inside. Did he not tell you?
Emily: No.
Josh: That's fucked. He chased after Bryce and then let him go.
Thomas: He did what?
Wendy: Is this true Taylor?
Taylor: Mom Emily wait.
Josh: I'll let you deal with this. Love you Em.
Emily: Love you joshy.

            ✨End of phone call✨

Everyone looks at Taylor and Emily stands up.

Emily: You fucking bitch!
Taylor: Em please let me explain.
Emily: No! You were there when I got shot and didn't even care to come out!

Emily has tears in her eyes and Wendy is slightly crying. She walks out of the room and Tyler hugs her.

Tyler: I didn't know momma.
Wendy: No one did.
Emily: I fucking trusted you!
Taylor: Em, please. I let him go because he was gonna get Christian in jail. You said so yourself you made him shoot you.
Emily: Get out!

Emily shoves Taylor out of her room and starts putting the little clothes she has out into her suitcase

Thomas: Em.
Emily: Don't even.
Thomas: I'll have everyone pack up I guess.

Later that night everyone is packed and Emily is loading her stuff into her car. The boys are talking to Thomas.

Jackson: She hasn't talked in hours.
Thomas: She's pissed off.
Jacob: I'm scared.
Kristian: She's scary when she's mad.
Thomas: Whatever you don't make her even madder.
Emily: Where is Vinnie?
Thomas: He left this morning for L.A.
Emily: Great.

They get on the private plane and Emily stays towards the back.

When they get back to L.A. Emily takes her things upstairs and lays next to Mia.

Mia opens her arms and Emily breaks down in Mia's arms.

Thomas puts his suitcase in the room and closes the door behind him so Mia and Emily can talk.

Hours later Emily and Mia come out of Mia and Thomas's room and walk into the kitchen.

Mia: If any of you boys break her heart I'll break yours literally.

Mia hugs Emily and takes Thomas's hand and they leave the kitchen.

Jackson: Em?
Emily: I like you guys I do. But I don't know if it's a crush or not.
Ace: It's okay.
Emily: No it's not. I'm trying with your guy's feelings. I did with Zach and I'm sorry.
Kristian: Technically you aren't toying with our emotions if we let you.
Jackson: Let her get to her point.
Emily: I know you guys want me to talk to you guys. Give me time. Don't get mad I told one person before I told another.
Bryce: Ahmed... Jackson... Ahmed.
Emily: Bryce.
Bryce: Sorry.
Ace: We're here whenever you need us.
Jacob: Yeah we are.
Emily: Okay well I want Jacob to cuddle and we are all watching a movie.
Jacob: alright by me.

They all go to the theatre room and Emily sits next to Jacob and cuddles him. They all sit on the sofa. It goes Ace, Kristian, Bryce, Emily, Jacob, and Jackson.

Emily: I'm most likely gonna fall asleep.
Ace: You always do.
Emily: I'll try not to.
Bryce: If your body wants to sleep let it sleep.
Emily: Okay.

They finish the movie and Jackson and Kristian are asleep.

Emily: Okay so I don't fall asleep everyone does.
Jacob: Practically.
Emily: You guys better go to sleep if you want to wake up and go to the gym.
Ace: You aren't sleeping alone. You get scared.
Emily: I'm comfy right where I am.
Jacob: You're fine down here?
Bryce: Good night Em.
Emily: Night guys.

Jacob, Ace, and Bryce all go upstairs, and shortly after Emily is asleep.
