Pt.28

Thomas and them get back and Chase scratches the back of his neck.

Emily: Focus on me.
Landon: Okay.

Thomas, Ace, and Kristian all carry bags inside and Mia walks over to Emily.

Mia: Em you should watch your hand.
Emily: I know.
Mia: Hi chase! It's good to see you.

Mia starts talking to Chase and Emily whispers soothing things into Landon's ear. At this point, Emily is sitting on the ground leaning against Chase's car and Landon is kinda laying on Emily's chest.

Emily: Breathe Landon.
Landon: I'm trying.
Emily: Did you get a new tattoo?
Landon: Yeah.
Emily: I like it. I'm thinking of getting a new tattoo. Know any good people?
Landon: Yeah. Jaden goes to the same person too.
Emily: Okay. I was thinking...
Landon: 28 with 2 butterflies?
Emily: Yeah I'd like that and so would cooper.
Landon: Yeah.

Landon sits up and Emily and he continues to sit there. Everyone else went inside.

Emily: You're calming down.
Landon: Yeah. Thank you.
Emily: Come on let's go see what everyone else is doing.

Landon takes Emily's non-bandaged hand and pulls her up. They walk inside and everyone is either making tiktoks or playing pool or sitting down taking. Chase is standing next to Thomas who is playing pool.

Emily walks up to Chase and leans on him. Chase wraps his arm around Emily's shoulders.

Chase: Now tell me what happened to your hand.
Emily: I'm sure you already know.
Landon: He knows he's doing that smirk.
Chase: Am not.
Emily: You are doing that one little smirk you do.
Thomas: You guys gonna stick around? You guys can.
Chase: We might for a little bit longer.
Emily: How's Jaden?
Chase: You need to go over there. Em, it's bad.
Landon: Chase maybe Em going over there isn't gonna help.
Emily: What do you mean?
Thomas: Just take a trip over to Jaden's and see yourself.
Emily: Okay. I'll go later.

They continue to hang out until Chase and Landon are getting ready to leave and Emily walks them out to Chase's car.

Emily: You take care. And don't scare me like that.
Landon: Okay I won't.

Emily kisses Chase and Landon's cheeks and they leave. Emily walks back inside and goes upstairs. She puts her shoes on and grabs her keys.

Ace: No way you driving.
Kristian: Nope no way.
Thomas: You boys go with her. Take the truck. If you have to fill it up before you come home.
Ace: Okay.
Kristian: I'm driving.

They all go out to the truck. Ace and Kristian are in the front. Emily sits on Bryce and Jackson's lap and Jacob is on the other side of Jackson.

Emily: Jackson that's my ass you just poked.
Jackson: I'm sorry.

Jackson pulls his hand from under Emily and moves it.
Kristian: Okay no having sex back there.
Emily: You wish.
Jacob: What the fuck were you guys doing the other night?
Bryce: Obviously something.
Emily: Jackson was doing it.
Jackson: You weren't saying no.
Ace: I believe you were into it.
Jacob: You didn't have sex with everyone in the car did you?
Emily: No.
Jackson: You like when everyone is around to hear you.

Emily moves her legs close and Bryce lightly chuckles.

Bryce: Oh Em only you.
Emily: Both of you have boners right now.
Ace: 3
Kristian: 4.
Jacob: I guess I make 5
Emily: Oh my god. I'm in a car full of horned dogs literally!

They shortly get to Jaden's and Bryce let Emily out.

Emily: Stay in the car. I'll be out as soon as I can.
Ace: Okay.
Emily: I'll be out as soon as I can.
