Pt.22

Ace and Emily get a couple of thirst traps down and Emily decides to make a few Tiktoks by herself next to Ace.

Emily: I'm gonna go get a snack.
Ace: Okay.

Emily walks downstairs and grabs a star crunch. Mia walks into the kitchen.

Mia: You have some explaining to do.
Emily: What did I do?
Mia: Don't play dumb with me. Kristian?

Mia: Explain.

Mia: We can talk when we are at target.

Everyone gets in the truck and Emily's car and they go to Target. Mia drags Emily a little ways away from everyone.

Mia: Talk.
Emily: Kristian and I had fun. It wasn't sex.

Emily clamps her hand over Mia's mouth and the boys all look over at them. Thomas status laughing and walks away with the shopping cart.

Mia: He went down?
Emily: Yeah...

They walk over to the boys and Ace nods his head away from everyone.

Ace and Emily leave everyone and go to the toys section.

Emily smirks and starts looking at stuffed animals.

Kristian walks over to them.

Kristian: Ace said to come find you guys after 5 minutes.

Ace: Thomas and Mia are staying in.

Emily picks up a cow stuffed animal.

Emily: I want this one.

They walk back to everyone and start walking together when Emily sees Emma again.

Emily: Thomas.
Thomas: Yeah?
Emily: Lugo is most likely here.
Thomas: Stay by me.

Emily hugs the cow stuffed animal and Bryce comes up behind her and puts his arm around her.

Bryce: I won't let anything happen.
Jackson: Didn't you already beat this bitches ass?
Emily: Yeah.

They start walking away from the area where Emma is when Zach Lugo and Trey come out of nowhere. Trey sees Emily and rushes over to her and hugs her. Emily hugs him back.

Trey: Em!
Emily: Hi Trey.
Trey: I miss hanging out with you.
Ace: He's a little kid.
Emily: Little teenager.
Trey: I'm sorry they are here.
Emily: It's okay.
Zach: TREY!
Emma: Ew get away from her.
Mia: Watch your mouth.
Zach: Get your girl.
Thomas: get yours.

Trey walks back and Emma flips them off. Emily goes to walk over when Jacob grabs her.

Emily: Come over and put that in my face. I'll break your fucking finger.
Emma: Bitch.

Zach: Don't talk to her that way.
Thomas: I suggest you leave.
Zach: Fuck you.

Thomas walks over to Zach and punches him. Jacob let's go of Emily and she walks over to Emma and she runs off.

Emily: That's what I thought you little pussy ass bitch.

Kristian comes up behind Emily and picks her up. Jacob and Ace get Thomas off Zach and he gets up and walks away with Trey.

Emily: Put me down.
Kristian: No.
Thomas: I'm fine. I'm good.

Jacob and Ace let go of Thomas's arms and he walks back over to Mia.

Mia: Better?
Thomas: Yeah.

They continue shopping and Kristian still has Emily in his arms.

Emily: Can you put me down?
Thomas: Not until we are outside.
Emily: Fine take me to my car.
Kristian: Ace buddy come to on.

They walk out to the car and Emily sits on the ground leaning against her car.

Ace: breath
Emily: I am.

Kristian bends down and leans in and kisses Emily. She relaxes and Kristian pulls away and stands up.

Ace: Better?
Emily: Yeah.
Ace: Now who was the little dude?
Emily: Trey is his cousin. He has always liked me being around. I've known Zach since I was little. He likes to call me-
Zach: Buttercup.

Ace and Kristian stand in front of Emily and she stands up.

Ace: I'll beat your ass right now.
Kristian: Same now leave.
Zach: I need to hand her something.

Zach stretches out his hand and it's the ring that Bryce gave Emily. Emily moves passed the boys and grabs it.

Zach: Taylor gave me the letter for some reason and Bryce told me where I could get the ring. He wants me to tell you he's sorry and he's trying to get an early release with probation.
Emily: Thanks leave. They will beat your ass.
Zach: okay okay I'm leaving. I don't need a matching eye.

Emily walks over to him and punches his other eye and holds her hand.

Zach falls to the ground and he scurries away. Ace takes Emily's hand into his.

Kristian: I'm beating his ass next time.
Ace: Me too.

Emily shakes her hand and then puts the ring on.

Ace: Em.
Emily: What?
Kristian: You don't need this ring.

Kristian takes the ring and chucks it across the parking lot. Emily gasps and falls to her knees. She starts crying.

Emily: NO!

Everyone comes out and Thomas and Mia run to Emily and drops by her side.

Emily: No no no.
Thomas: Ace Kristian?
Mia: Baby what's wrong?
Emily: They chucked my ring!
Ace: Zach came over and gave her a ring that was from Bryce hall and she punched him in the other eye.
Kristian: She put the ring on and I took it off and chucked it...

Mia holds Emily and she starts crying even harder.

Thomas: Em it's for the best. You need to move on.
Bryce: You have us.
Jacob: I'll drive for you.

Mia gets Emily in the back seat of her car and Ace sits next to Emily. Jackson gets in the passenger seat and Jacob in the drivers.

Thomas: Get her calmed down then back home. I have everything else.
Jacob: Okay.

They pull out of the Target and Ace holds Emily.
