Pt. 56

Blake: Nick?
Ace: Fuck.
Thomas: Go ask Emily.

Blake leaves the living room and goes go the kitchen. Emily is sitting on the counter hugging Jackson who is standing in between her legs.

Blake: Since when is Nick caring about you? Are you getting into bad habits again?
Emily: No Nick is my real brother.
Jackson: What does he mean by bad habits Em?
Emily: Smoking.
Blake: He's your what? I thought Tayler was.
Emily: A long story with Wendy.

Blake scratches the back of his head and leaves the kitchen. Jackson makes Emily look at him and kisses her forehead.

Jackson: I'm gonna make your tea.
Emily: Okay.

Jackson finishes making Emily's tea and hands the mug to her and she takes it and sips on it. Emily sets her mug down and pulls Jackson to her.

Jackson: Movie?                                      Emily: Yeah. I would like that.

Jackson helps Emily down off the counter and she grabs her mug and they walk into the living room.

Emily: I'm sorry that I won't be down here but I want to go watch a movie and be alone.                 
Blake: No I understand. Jackson, she is a keeper. You do anything to hurt her and I will swear-   
Emily: Blake! Enough. He gets it. I get it.                                                            Jackson: I love her and I want her to be happy.                                                    Blake: Well I do too and I don't want her to get hurt.                                 Jackson: Makes 2 of us.

Emily gives Blake a look and turns towards Jackson.

Emily: I'll be upstairs. I'm gonna talk to Blake as I walk him out.
Jackson: Okay.

Jackson kisses Emily's forehead and walks upstairs. The boys walk into the kitchen as Paige and Mia walk after them.

Emily: Let's walk and talk shall we?
Blake: I guess.

Emily and Blake start walking outside.

Emily: You are doing that face when you don't know what to do.
Blake: I don't want you hurt.
Emily: You've hurt me...

Emily looks away and Blake puts his hand on her cheek and makes her look at him.

Blake: Em you know I never wanted to do that.
Emily: But you still did...
Blake: I know...

Emily moves away from Blake's touch and hugs her.

Blake: I know Bryce and Josh were the hardest to get over but I still love you.
Emily: I know. I love you too.
Blake: He will treat you well.
Emily: Yeah.

Emily smiles and Blake kisses Emily's head and he leaves. Emily walks back inside and closes the door behind her. She walks upstairs to Jackson's room and closes the door behind her.

Jackson: Everything go okay?
Emily: Yeah.
Jackson: Come here.

Jackson opens his arms and Emily crawls onto the bed and crawls onto his lap.

Jackson: I love you.
Emily: I love you.

Ace walks into the room and hands Emily an envelope.

Emily: What's that?
Ace: I don't know. It came in the mail.

Emily takes it and opens it. Once she gets a glimpse of what's inside she runs downstairs. Jackson and Ace look at each other and follow her.

Emily: Where was this?
Thomas: In the mailbox. Is everything thing okay?
Emily: Yeah. I need to go somewhere.

Emily grabs her keys and walks outside. Jackson and Ace are still following her.

Jackson: You aren't going alone.
Emily: Jackson.
Ace: No he's right.
Jackson: What's in the envelope?
Emily:... Remember when I said I had something with Ace and Kristian?
Jackson: Yeah?
Ace: Em what's in the envelope?
Emily: Someone was there.
Jackson: Pictures?
Emily: Yeah.
Jackson: I trust you. Take Kristian and Ace.
Emily: Are you sure?
Jackson: Yeah.

Jackson pulls Emily in for a kiss and walks inside and shortly after Kristian walks outside confused.

Emily: Just get in the car.

They all get in the car and start driving. Ace takes the envelope and takes the pictures out.

Kristian: Woah buddy why do you have those?
Emily: It was mailed to me.
Kristian: Who in their right mind would send you those?
Emily: I don't know.
Ace: It's not just us.
Emily: What do you mean?
Ace: Pictures of you changing.
Kristian: Are we going to your apartment?
Emily: Yeah.

The rest of the car ride is in silence. Once they finally get to the apartments and park Emily wastes no time walking to the one apartment. The boys follow her until they are in an apartment.

Ace: I feel awkward being in here.
Emily: Nothing you haven't seen before.
Kristian: Yeah but it's still weird.

Emily starts looking around and there are new pictures.

Ace: Is that with Christian?
Emily: Maybe it isn't him.
Kristian: It could be. He's been obsessed with you.
Emily: it won't stop til one of us is dead.
Ace: Don't talk like that Em.
Emily: It's the truth.

They continue to walk around.

Ace: Em have you thought about it being someone you trust? This is very detailed and it has you in middle school.
Emily: The only one I've known since Middle school is Christian and Will.

Emily grabs pictures off the wall and puts them on the counter.

Kristian: There is a picture of every single boy you have ever been caught with.
Emily: Has to be something that will point us in the right direction of who.
Ace: Maybe Tayler needs to help you. He's been with you your whole life.
Emily: Maybe.
Kristian: Em i'm sorry but I don't feel right looking at this.
Emily: Then look at something else. There are more than just naked pictures of me.
Ace: She is right.

Emily calls Tayler.

✨On the phone ✨

Tayler: What's wrong?
Emily: Stalker is back.
Tayler: I'm on my way.
Emily: No one else. I'm already asking enough about you coming.
Tayler: Not the first time I've seen you naked. Which let me tell you is the most disturbing thing ever.
Kayden: Naked?
Emily: Shut up.
Tayler: You aren't going. That's my sister.
Kayden: Come on.
Emily: let it go. I haven't had a good day.
Ace: Who is it?
Emily: I have it.
Kristian: Who is this person?
Kayden: How many guys do you know?
Jayden: Stop bro.
Tayler: You are crossing a line. That is my sister.
Emily: I think I'm gonna invite Nick on the trip.
Tayler: That's a great idea!
Rocky: That's not your boyfriend?
Ace: It's her real brother.
Kristian: I'm gonna talk to Jackson.
Emily: You do that and I will light your bed on fire.

✨End of phone call ✨

Emily: I will tell him
Ace: It got you off the phone call.
Kristian: But who are we looking for in the pictures?
