Pt. 121

Chreesh: Sweet Pea?
Jaydan: 'Em?

Emily is standing in the spot she cut her wrists crying.

Chreesh hurries to her side and hugs her. She sinks to the ground in Chreesh's arms. Jaydan rushes to them and he sits by Chreesh.

Emily: Why can't anybody get along?
Chreesh: We all have our own ways of trying to keep you safe.
Jaydan: 'Em I think this is what he wants. He wants to turn everybody against everybody you get overwhelmed and have to walk away.
Emily: Probably not wrong.

Jaydan stands up as someone walks over. He stands in between them and Emily.

Chase: May I talk to her?
Chreesh: Sweet pea?
Emily: He's Okay guys.

Chreesh wipes Emily's face and slowly stands up and pulls Jaydan to the porch where they sit and watch.

Chase: Body Guards.
Emily: They are looking out for me.
Chase: I know they are. Nick is also but he gets so angry when your involved he zones out.
Emily: Yeah I remember when Tayler threw a shoe in my direction.

✨ Flash back ✨

Emily is arguing with Tayler about her trying to go out to bars with friends. Emily is upset and crying.

Emily: Why can't I?
Tayler: Because I know what happens Emily.
Emily: You aren't my boss.
Tayler: You're 16 Emily! You have no rights to go to a bar or a party with people older than you!

Emily gets and walks upstairs. Tayler is yelling at her. Nick hears Tayler scream at her in the hallway and follows behind him.

Emily: YOU NEVER LET ME HAVE ANY FUN!

Emily goes to slam her door and Tayler pushes it open. At this point Nick walks in and stands in between them.

Nick: HEY! Calm down!
Tayler: You don't get to walk away.
Emily: You can't keep telling me what to do!
Tayler: You aren't going out end of discussion!

Emily picks up a pillow and throws it at Tayler. That pisses Tayler off and he picks up a shoe and chucks it at Emily. Nick shields Emily and she cowards down and stares at Tayler while Nick hides her behind his body.

Nick: WHAT THE FUCK TAYLER! BACK THE FUCK UP!

Thomas and Chase run into the room. Chase rushed to Emily's side and hugs her. He walks out of the room and takes her to his room and they cuddle and watch a movie.

Back with the guys.

Thomas: What the fuck is happening!
Nick: He just chucked a fucking shoe at Emily's fucking head! That's what is happening!
Tayler: It just happened I didn't mean too!
Nick: Didn't mean too my fucking ass Tayler!

Nick walks away and check up on Emily. Thomas talks to Tayler.

               ✨End of flashback ✨

Chase: He got so pissed off. He wouldn't let it go for awhile.
Emily: Tayler was convinced he liked me.
Chase: That was a nice little rumor going around. A  16 and 18 year old in the hype house secretly hooking up. Older brother finds out!

Emily laughs and Chase smiles and brings her into a hug. Nick gets dragged outta the house by Rocky and Kayden.

Emily: Nick!

Emily rushes over to him.

Emily: Bubba I'm okay.

Nick finally looks at her and his face softens. He pulls her into a hug.

Chase: Hey mini me.
Emily: Hm?
Nick: You called me bubba!

Emily smiles and pushes Nick away.

Emily: Don't have a heart attack or anything.

Emily then walks into the house and sees a Jaden and Josh both have black eyes.

Josh: You better keep him on a leash.
Emily: You got 5 seconds to leave before I go get the closest thing to me to start throwing at you!

Jaden watches as Emily's eyes darken and he gulps and hits Josh's arm. He slowly backs away.

Josh: What are you gonna do? Go get your brother under control! He fucking punched me!

Emily picks up the key bowl by the door and chucks it at Josh. He ducks and it smashes on the floor. He books it for the door with Emily right behind him. She tackles him off the steps. She starts punching him. He lets her punch him. He sits there and takes it.

Rocky: Emily!
Jaden: Emily Faye!

Emily stands up and gets off Josh.

Josh: I probably deserved that.
Emily: You think?.. Don't use my fucking middle name Jaden!
Jaden: Your acting like a crazy person!!
Emily: Maybe I am!
Rocky: EVERYONE NEEDS TO SHUT THE FUCK UP!
Lane: This isn't helping. Josh, Jaden I think you guys need to leave.
Jaydan: This just isn't working.

Jaden backs away and pushes Josh towards his car.

Nick: You have to many bodyguards.
Chase: Speaking of bodyguards does Zach know?

Emily freezes and turns around.

Emily: No. he finds out he's gonna beat the fuck outta Tayler!
Nick: I may have called him.
Emily: Nick!
Nick: He may be over today or tomorrow that's why I came over.
Emily: I miss me some Zach.
Chase: Emily that's gross.
Nick: I'm gonna throw up.

Nick fakes gags with Chase and so does the rest of the guys when they catch on. Emily laughs and walks inside.

Nick send the boys out to do stuff besides Chreesh. They all help Emily clean up and slowly pack.

Emily: You didn't have to send them away.
Nick: I kept your teddy bear one.
Emily: Cause they all agreed he should stay.

Chreesh walks into the kitchen with a box that has Emily written on it.

Emily: That's Taylers hand writing.
Chreesh: Sweet pea.
Emily: What.

Chase walks in with another box with Emily written on it.

Emily: How many?
Chreesh: They were hidden in a crawl space in Taylers closet.

Emily opens the one Chreesh put down. There's money notes and clothes.

Emily: He wasn't lying.
Nick: About what.
Emily: When we were little he said if he ever moved away he would make sure I had what enough to get a house of my own where ever I wanted.

Emily gets teary eyed and Chreesh wraps his arms around her.

Chreesh: You get to choose who you give second chances too. You also get to chose what to do with your life and when.
Emily: Thank you.

Emily hugs Chreesh and they hear someone slam open the door and stomp into the house. Emily gets scared and hugs Chreesh tighter.

Nick turns around and before he can walk out of the kitchen they are standing in the door way.
