Pt.83

They all let her go and someone walks out from behind Thomas.

Vinnie: Do I get a hug?
Emily: VINNIE!!

Emily runs to Vinnie and jumps into his arms. He catches her and spins her around.

Emily: Oh I've missed you!
Vinnie: I've missed you too.

Emily then hugs Mia and Thomas. Bryce gets Emily's luggage from her car and takes it up to her room.

Vinnie: Is that asshole in jail?
Emily: Yes...
Thomas: What?
Emily: Bryce found me last night. I hid though before he has seen me.
Thomas/ Vinnie: WHAT!
Emily: He gave me his PAU chain and the papers to the sway house property.
Mia: Em you can't go there.
Emily: I know... I kinda wanna rest. I have laundry to do and Tayler wants me to come back over tomorrow.
Thomas: Go ahead. We can talk later.
Jacob: I'm glad you're home
Emily: Me too!

Emily goes upstairs and closes the door behind her. Once she closes the door she starts taking all of Jackson's things and throwing them in a bag. After she finally stops she drops to her knees and starts crying.

Her phone starts ringing and she quickly dries her tears before answering.

Emily: H hello?
Chreesh: Sweet pea what's wrong?
Emily: Nothing I'm I'm fine.
Chreesh: Sweet pea.
Emily: I'm okay.
Chreesh: I don't believe you.
Emily: That's okay. What's up?
Chreesh: You left some clothes in my bag by mistake.
Emily: I'll be back tomorrow.
Chreesh: Alright sweet pea.
Emily: Actually... Would you meet me at the beach around 9?
Chreesh: And what do you have planned?
Emily: Dancing. Bring everyone. I'll invite everyone here.
Chreesh: Tayler is having dinner here.
Emily: Well then go have fun.
Jaydan: I wanna dance!
Chreesh: Get outta here!
Emily: Okay Jaydan. I'll dance with you.
Jaydan: Tomorrow night. Everyone is going out.
Emily: Maybe.
Jaydan: Nope you are going.
Emily: You gonna drag me outta bed?
Jaydan: If I have to.
Emily: Of course, you would.
Chreesh: Tomorrow night sweet pea.
Emily: Yeah yeah.

Emily plugs her phone in and takes a shower. Once she is out of the shower she gets dressed and walks downstairs. Ace is in the living room with Bryce playing pool.

She walks over to them and sits on the couch and watches them.

Emily: Who's winning?
Bryce: I am.
Ace: I let you win the last game.
Bryce: Oh sure you did!
Emily: Can we go get food?
Bryce: We are getting dinner in a little bit.
Emily: I haven't eaten today.
Vinnie: Why not!?
Emily: I slept in really late
Ace: I can see it.

They all order food and Vinnie leaves. Emily realizes he officially moved out.

After they are done eating they all watch a couple of movies and everyone hangs out.

Emily gets a call and she answers it

Emily: Hello?
Tayler: I need you to come over in the morning.
Emily: Okay. Is everything okay?
Tayler: Yeah.
Emily: Alright I'll be over. Love you bye.
Tayler: Love you bye.

🛑End of call🛑

Emily goes to the kitchen and Bryce soon follows her.

Bryce: Can I ask you a question?
Emily: Sure.
Bryce: Why'd it take you so long to come home?
Emily: I wasn't ready to come home yet.
Bryce: I understand.
Emily: I should get to bed. Tayler wants me to come over in the morning.
Bryce: Alright good night... I'm glad you are home.
Emily: Me too. Goodnight.

Emily hugs him and says goodnight to everyone else and goes to bed.

The next morning Emily gets up around 7:15 and gets up and dressed. She packs a bag for later that night and goes downstairs. She meets Ace in the kitchen making a protein drink.

Emily: Good morning.
Ace: Morning.
Emily: Gym?
Ace: You already know it.

Ace finishes making his drink and kisses Emily's cheek before he goes to walk outside.

Ace: Bye. I'll see you when you get back home.
Emily: Okay!

Ace leaves and Thomas and Jacob walk downstairs.

Thomas: Ace leave?
Emily: Yeah.
Jacob: Are you going to the gym with us?
Emily: Not today. I will when I have the next free morning.
Jacob: Alright.

Thomas hugs Emily and she hugs him back.

Emily: Are you okay?
Thomas: I just missed you when you were away. Then you get kidnapped and shot again.
Jacob: That's a lot Em.
Emily: I know.

Thomas gives Emily a smile before walking back upstairs. Jacob continues what he's doing and Emily starts making coffee.

Jacob: Please don't drink much today if you drink.
Emily: Huh?

Emily gets taken aback and Jacob walks over to her and hugs her.

Jacob: I don't know what you are doing today but if you drink don't drink a lot.
Emily: Okay. I won't.
Jacob: Thank you.
Emily: You're welcome.

Emily gets a cup and makes her coffee. Before she leaves she says bye to everyone and as she's walking out the door Bryce is walking in.

Bryce: Your brother is here for you.
Emily: Oh!

Bryce walks outside with her and hugs her. Ace and Kristian walk outside too.

Ace: Tweety man how many times we've been over this?
Emily: Kristian hold my coffee.
Kristian: Yes Ma'am!

Emily fully hugs Bryce and he snuggles into the nape of her neck.

Emily: I wasn't gone that long!
Ace: Longer than us.
Kristian: It was like over a month Em.
Emily: I'm back now okay? I don't plan on leaving until fall again. We have the whole summer!
Bryce: Okay.

Emily rubs Bryce's back and he finally let's go. Emily kisses his cheek and he gives her an adorable smile.

Emily: I love that smile!
Ace: Okay love birds!
Emily: I love your curly fluffy hair Ace. And I love Kristian's big hugs and his goofiness.

All the boys' smile and Emily gives them all one more hug before grabbing her coffee and going to Tayler's truck and getting in the front seat.

Emily: Hi boys! Hi, bubba!
Tayler: About time!
Chreesh: You're in a good mood!
Emily: I went back home!
Tayler: Let me get a drink of your coffee.
Emily: Okay.

Emily hands Tayler her cup and he takes a drink before putting it in a cup holder and driving off.

Rocky: Who were those guys?
Emily: Mhmm Is that jealousy I hear?
Chreesh: Guy's best friend.
Tayler: Bingo! They take care of her when I'm not around. So how's Thomas?
Emily: He's okay. He wasn't happy to hear I had gotten shot again but you know nobody likes to hear that.
Kayden: That shit scared me.
Tayler: Me too.
Chreesh: Made us realize how much you mean to us. Even in such little time.
Emily: I have that effect on everyone.
Tayler: Yeah.
Emily: So what are we doing today?
Tayler: I have a surprise.
Emily: You know I don't like surprises
Tayler: I think you will like this one.

They continue to drive for about 15 minutes until Tayler pulls up to a building.

Emily: Where are we?
Tayler: Just trust me.
Emily: If I regret this I'm beating your ass.
Tayler: Nope let's go.

They get out and Chreesh covers Emily's eye with a blindfold.

Emily: Chreesh please do not let me trip.
Chreesh: I would never sweet pea.

Emily clings to Chreesh's arm and he leads her inside the building.

Tayler: Maybe it was a good idea to bring you.
Chreesh: Because she trusts me more than you?
Tayler: Yeah.
Kayden: Alright almost there.

Chreesh pulls Emily into the room. Tayler takes Emily's blind fold off.

Emily gasps and hugs Tayler.
