Something Different

Pt. 76

In the morning they all get up early and head to the airport. While they are waiting Emily falls back asleep against Chreesh.

After they land they get a cab. Once they are in the cab they start heading to the AirBnB for the guys.

Lane: You aren't going home?
Emily: Not yet.
Rocky: Spend the night?
Kayden: Yeah.
Jaydan: Please.
Emily: Fine.

They all get situated and hang out. Emily calls Thomas to bring her car she meets him outside.

Thomas: Emily!

Emily runs over to him and hugs him. Mia gets out of Emily's car and joins the hug.

Emily grabs her keys from Mia and they talk a little bit. Bryce soon gets out of Thomas's car and Emily jumps into his arms.

Bryce: Oh my God i've missed you.
Emily: Are you guys the only ones that know I'm back?
Mia: For now yes. Jackson and Paige are moving out.
Thomas: I may or may have not given him a black eye and busted lip.
Emily: Thank you!

Emily giggles and Bryce doesn't let go.

Mia: Bryce she has to breathe buddy.
Thomas: I'm glad you are home.
Emily: Actually I have to tell you guys something.

Emily stops hugging Bryce and tells them what happened in Nashville.

Thomas: He what!
Bryce: Em why didn't you call any one of us?
Emily: I didn't want to worry you guys.
Mia: Worry us! You could've been killed!
Thomas: You could've died Em.
Emily: I know and I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I'm here right now and that's all that matters. I want to tell the others when I decide to come back after they move out.
Thomas: It's totally up to you.
Mia: You and I have some serious talking to do.
Emily: Yes yes we do.
Bryce: Can I have a moment alone with Emily?
Thomas: Yea.

Mia and Thomas get into their car and Emily and Bryce walk away from the car.

Emily: Bryce I'm sorry.
Bryce: I've been missing you since the day you left.
Emily: I know.
Bryce: You didn't call.
Emily: Neither did you.
Bryce: Cause I wanted you to have fun. And you almost died!

Bryce gets upset and Emily takes Bryce's shaking hands into hers and makes him look at her.

Emily: Bryce look at me. I'm here now. That's all that matters. I'm at this moment talking to you at.
Bryce: Don't leave anytime soon.
Emily: I don't think I am.

Bryce hugs Emily tightly and they stay like that for a couple of minutes. Once Bryce lets go he places a gentle kiss on Emily's forehead. He smiles at Emily and walks to Thomas's car.

Once they leave and Emily walks inside and into the bathroom she gets pinned to the door by Kayden.

Emily: Kayden.
Kayden: What was that outside?
Emily: You are acting like Rocky.
Kayden: What's to say we are the same?
Emily: Jealous?
Kayden: Yes. We have something.
Emily: I know Kayden. He's a roommate I live with.
Kayden: Don't lie to me.

Rocky walks into the bathroom and kinda just stands there.

Emily: Kayden let me go. You aren't Rocky.
Rocky: Me?
Kayden: Stop lying to me!

Emily closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.

Emily: What do you want me to say? Do you want me to say that we had something? You know what we did. We used to fake date.
I'm his comfort person.

Rocky closes the door behind him when he walks out. Kayden continues to hold Emily against the wall.

Emily: Where has this side been to you? Locked away?

Kayden looks down at Emily's lips and then back up to her eyes before kissing her. He picks her up and sets her on the counter and locks the door. He grabs her thighs and squeezes. Emily moans into the kiss and wraps her arms around Kayden's neck. Kayden pulls away from Emily and steps back. Emily lightly whines.

Emily: No.
Kayden: Yep.

Kayden walks out of the bathroom and leaves Emily sitting there.

A couple of minutes pass and Chreesh walks in and stops when he sees Emily.

Chreesh: You good Em?
Emily: Yeah.
Chreesh: You look upset.
Emily: I'm okay.
Chreesh: Don't lie to me Em. What's wrong and why do you hold your legs like that? You've been doing that a lot lately.

Emily looks down and sighs.

Emily: I will be okay and I don't know why I do this.

Emily gives Chreesh a slight smile before leaving the bathroom. She walks downstairs and as she is about to walk out the front door Kayden and Lane are stopping her.

Lane: Where are you going?
Emily: Don't worry about it.
Kayden: Em.
Emily: Don't worry about it.
Lane: No you don't get to leave.
Emily: I'll be fine. I'm just going to go see a friend.
Kayden: Who's this friend?
Emily: Don't worry about it.

Kayden looks Emily up and down then he turns to look at Lane.

Kayden: I'll be back later.

Kayden takes Emily's hand and they walk outside. Kayden walks close to Emily.

Kayden: I know what you're doing.
Emily: Well I was gonna go see a friend.

Emily gets in the drivers seat while Kayden gets in the passenger.

They start driving and Kayden turns the radio on.

Kayden: So is this a girl or a boy?
Emily: Why does it matter?
Kayden: You are mine. No one gets to touch you.

Emily stops at a red light and looks over at Kayden to see him already looking at her.

Emily: Kayden I'm not yours.
Kayden: You just don't know it yet.
Emily: I'm not dating anybody. Will not do that again.
Kayden: Well you've never had a Kayden.
Emily: Seriously I don't want to talk about this.

Emily pulls up to an apartment. She looks at Kayden.

Emily: Please just stay in the car. I don't know if she wants to see me.
Kayden: Why? What happened?
Emily: Just stay down here.

Emily hesitantly gets out of the car and disappears inside the building. She walks to an elevator and walks into it. She goes up to her designated floor and walks to the room. She knocks on the door and a couple of minutes later she answers.
