Pt.85

Emily finally gets in her car again and starts driving again. As she's driving she stops at the gas station and gets gas. Once she's getting gas someone she didn't want to see shows up.

She tries to hurry up and pump her gas before they see her.

Zach: Oh my God is that my little cupcake?
Emily: Go to hell Lugo. You don't get to call me that.
Zach: I believe you liked that name.
Emily: Keyword. Liked. Now go away.
Zach: Why can't handle being alone?

Emily chuckles and turns to face him. She steps up to him and before she can punch him she's pulled back.

Phillip: Not today Holder. Get out here Lugo. I don't want to go any more paperwork on you
Zach: Looky here got a new boyfriend. You always liked them older.

Emily gets out of Phillips's arms and punches Zach in the face and he holds his bleeding nose.

Zach: YOU BITCH!
Emily: Go to hell you fucking dick.

Zach walks away and Emily finishes pumping her gas and Phillip smirks at Emily. She holds her hand to her chest and closes her eyes for a second.

Phillip: I believe I tried to stop you from doing that.
Emily: Try harder next time.

Emily goes to get into her car and she gets a sharp pain in her hand.

Phillip: You are going to the hospital for that.
Emily: I'm fine.
Phillip: Emily please don't make me call Tayler.
Emily: No. I said I'm fine.
Phillip: Okay if you're fine let me see your hand.

Emily holds out her hand and Phillip looks at it. Emily fights the urge to wince.

Phillip: You aren't fine.
Emily: Well I'm not going to the hospital.

Emily gets in her car and Phillip grabs his phone. Emily drives away and goes to Tayler's. When she gets out of her car Tayler is waiting on the porch. He walks over to Emily and takes her keys.

Emily: Hey! Give those back!
Tayler: Truck now.
Emily: Tay I'm fine.

Tyler walks over and throws Emily over his shoulder and walks to Tayler's truck with him following.

Tyler gets Emily in the back seat with him and Tayler gets in the driver's seat. They start driving.

Emily looks out the window and plays with Tyler's keys. Tyler looks at her weirdly and continues to look at the road ahead of him.

They get to the hospital and get Emily in a room the nurse does what she needs to and the doctor talks to Tayler in the hallway.

Tyler: You're acting weird.
Emily: I was gonna say the same thing for you.
Tyler: You hated me.
Emily: Well I can't hold a grudge. I was thinking you were gonna hurt me like Bryce but I know you aren't him.
Tyler: But I have hurt you.
Emily: You probably have your reasons like I have mine.

Tyler goes quiet and looks over at the door then walks over to Emily.

Tyler: I'm sorry for the way I have treated you...
Emily: I'm also sorry.

Tyler slightly smiles and Emily returns it.

Tayler walks back into the room with the discharge papers.

Tayler: What the hell is going on with you guys?... Are you guys hooking up?
Emily: No.
Tyler: What no.
Emily: That's just gross. No offense.
Tyler: None taken.
Emily: I'm not holding my grudge anymore. He isn't Bryce.
Tayler: I'm proud of you!

Tayler hugs Emily and she rolls her eyes. Tyler laughs at her and they all go back to the truck.

When they are driving Tayler stops at the store and goes in. Emily fell asleep and Tyler stayed in the truck.

Emily walks up a couple of minutes later.

Emily: Where are we?
Tyler: Store. Tayler needed a few things.
Emily: Oh okay.

Emily goes on her phone and Rocky sent her a snap of him driving his mustang. She sent one back with her sitting in the truck.
After she is done she leans on the middle console next to Tyler.

Emily: What did you and Jaydan talk about the other night?
Tyler: Don't worry about it.
Emily: But I want to know.
Tyler: Nope.

Emily sits back and Tayler comes back out. They drive home and Emily walks upstairs to Chreesh's room and finds him playing on his phone. She walks over to him and cuddles up next to him.

Chreesh: Hey sweet pea! What happened to your hand?
Emily: I punched someone.
Chreesh: Why?
Emily: Ex-boyfriend.
Chreesh: Damn

Chreesh smiles down at Emily and puts his phone down. Kayden and Rocky walk into the room and sit next to them.

Rocky: We should go out again!
Emily: No.
Kayden: Why not?
Emily: I still feel bleh from last night.
Chreesh: You can go out.
Rocky: You can drive my car.
Emily: I have my own.

Lane walks into the room.

Rocky: Would you mind going out again tonight?
Lane: You can. I kinda wanna go to the beach again.
Emily: I wouldn't mind going to the beach.
Rocky: Well I'm gonna get the others to go drinking.
Emily: Have fun. Be safe.

Rocky pats Emily's leg and gets up. He walks out of the room and the others start talking.

Rocky, Tayler, Tyler, Caden, and Jaydan went out drinking. Emily, Chreesh, Kayden, and Lane went to the beach.

At the beach. Emily sets up a spot kinda close to the water so they don't have to walk a long way.
Chreesh and Lane went ahead and got in the water. Kayden stays with Emily.

Kayden: You doing okay?
Emily: Yeah.

Emily looks up at Kayden and he looks down at her.

Emily: What?
Kayden: You are looking beautiful.
Emily: Oh stop it

Emily giggles and they walk to the water.

Emily gets thrown into the water by Kayden and she splashes him. Lane starts laughing and he gets splashed too.

Lane: Hey! I didn't do it.
Emily: No but you laughed.
Chreesh: It was funny.

Emily splashes Chreesh and everyone has fun and laughs.

Emily swims around Lane then Kayden and Chreesh. Lane bites his lip and swims behind Emily. He stands to the side of her and she teases him before swimming away. Kayden catches on and lightly chuckles.

They all swim for hours. They film some Tiktoks in with the sunset and all laugh and have a good time.

Once they get out and dry off everyone makes their way to the vehicles.

Chreesh: I'm gonna go pick up the boys.
Kayden: I'll drive Tayler's truck.
Emily: Be safe guys.
Kayden: Always.
Chreesh: We will.

Kayden moves to Emily's ear.

Kayden: So you and Lane can have some alone time.

Kayden kisses Emily's cheek and smirks at her before they leave.

Chreesh and Kayden leave as Emily is putting everything in her trunk and Lane get in the passenger seat.

Emily gets in the driver's seat and looks at Lane. He's watching his phone.

Emily: Are you seriously mad at me?
