Pt.95

The next morning Emily wakes up to someone shaking her.

Emily: Leave me alone.
Jaydan: I got you breakfast.
Emily: I don't want breakfast. I want to sleep.

Emily turns over and lays on someone's lap. She looks up and is surprised and confused. She sits up and rubs her eyes and looks at him again.

Guy: No hug?

Emily throws her arms around him and he holds her.

Tyler: Chreesh? When did you get here bud?
Jaydan: I picked him up at the airport this morning.
Chreesh: Tayler called me yesterday a-

Tyler gives him a look to shut up and then points at Emily.

Emily: And what?
Chreesh: Said I should come out here.
Emily: Oh Okay.

Emily pulls away and checks her phone. She has another missed call from Jaden.

Emily: I have to call somebody back. I'll meet you guys downstairs.
Tyler: Alright.
Jaydan: Everything okay?
Emily: I hope so.

The guys leave and Emily closes the door behind them. She calls Jaden back and he answers.

Jaden: About time!
Emily: What? Is everything okay?
Jaden: No. Bryce has been calling me asking where you are. I didn't even know you left. What is going on?
Emily: I don't know what he wants.
Jaden: Em should I be concerned?
Emily: Yes.
Jaden: Are you safe?
Emily: Yes.
Jaden: Okay...( Loud Crash)
Emily: Jaden?
Jaden:...
Emily: Jaden? Hello
Jaden: He is here. He just broke into my apartment.
Emily: Bryce?
Jaden: I will call you later. I love you, mamas.
Emily: I love you too. Jaden be careful.
Jaden: For you yes...
( Bryce: JADEN! )

Emily runs her hands through her hair and lets out a shaky breath. She gets dressed in leggings and a crop top and walks downstairs.

Tyler: What's wrong?
Emily: Where is Tayler?
Tyler: He just a call from the realtor and had to go meet her... Em, what is wrong?
Emily: Bryce is going after Jay.

Tyler walks over to Emily and hugs her.

Tyler: Hey it's okay. I'm sure he's fine.
Emily: No Bryce is pissed. There was a loud crash.
Tyler: Em. Jaden is gonna be fine.
Emily: I really hope you are right.
Chreesh: You're ex Bryce?
Emily: The one that shot me.
Jaydan: That crazy motherfucker?
Emily: Yes.

Tyler sits Emily down and has her eat. After a while, Tayler comes back, and Emily tells Tayler.

Tayler: Nothing much we can do from here Em. He can call the cops and tell them.
Emily: He's crazy!

Emily's phone starts ringing and it's Jaden. Emily walks outside and answers it.

Emily: Jaden are you okay?
Bryce: Wrong person.
Emily: Let him go.
Bryce: I don't have him. He's standing right next to me.
Jaden: Emily Don't listen to him!
Emily: Bryce listen to me you don't want to hurt him.
Bryce: Why not?
Emily: This is not you.
Bryce: what do you think you know about me?
Emily: You love me. You wouldn't want to hurt me... Please don't hurt him. Bryce, please.
Bryce: Why?
Emily: Cause you want to get back at me. Not Jaden. Leave him out of this.
Bryce: You'll be mine.
Emily: Bryce, please. Jaden!
Jaden: I'll be fine.
Bryce: Where are you?
Emily: I can't tell you that.
Bryce: I'll find you. I know Jaden has a tracker on you.
Jaden: What are you talking about? You make me sound like a stalker.
Bryce: Jaden I'm not stupid.
Emily: Bryce leaves him out of this.
Bryce: I will find you and we can live together.
Emily: No.
Bryce: I'll see you when you get back.
