Pt. 119

She steps in front of Chreesh and blocks him from getting around her.

Buddy: Still worried about your friends before your own life?
Emily: Where is Jaden?
Buddy: Oh him. I don't know. Hide and seek.
Chreesh: Em. Please.
Buddy: May wanna listen to him.
Jaden: EMILY

Emily goes to run and Buddy grabs her. Chreesh walks in and goes to grab Emily when Buddy points his gun at him.

Emily: No you leave him out of this, please. You don't want to hurt him. You want me. Let him go.
Chreesh: Em.
Emily: No. Get out of here. Find everyone. Please.
Chreesh: I'm not leaving you.
Emily: Go now while you have a chance.

Chreesh turns around and runs out the door. Buddy shoots at Chreesh and misses and has gone. Emily screams out and she gets pistol whipped and thrown to the ground.

Emily: Haven't I given you enough?
Buddy: I was told to make your life a living hell.

Buddy drags her to her spare room and shoves her to the ground and walks out and locks her door with a padlock and many other locks he placed.

Emily rolls over and gets up. She finds Josh and Jaden zip tied to chairs.

Emily: Oh my god are you guys okay?
Josh: Bryce is here. He has the others all over the place.
Jaden: Em you need to get outta here.
Emily: No not without everyone.
Jaden: Leave us.
Emily: No.
Josh: Em he's right. If you can away you need to go.
Emily: No.
Jaden: Baby listen to me. You care about those boys out there. You need to get them out of here.
Emily: I care for you and Josh too.
Josh: I've said and done things to you Em I can take this. Bryce sees you and I don't know what he's gonna do.

With that Emily hears a gunshot and starts banging on the door.

Jaden: Mama.

Emily runs over to Jaden and takes his face in her hands. She starts crying.

Jaden: Promise me you get out.
Emily: No.
Jaden: Please. Promise.
Emily: I don't want to do this. Not again. Jaden.
Josh: Em, please. Promise both of us.

Emily leans down and kisses Jaden and kisses Josh.

Jaden: You have a hole in the wall. Move the box.
Emily: I hate both of you.

Emily goes through the hole in the wall in the closet and brings her to another apartment.

She stands up and walks to the door. She opens it and lightly runs to her picture room. She finds Rocky.

Rocky: Get out of here baby.
Emily: No.

Emily finds a pair of scissors and cuts the zip ties.

Emily: Takes these with you. Find the others.
Rocky: Are you fucking crazy?
Emily: Yes. Chreesh isn't tied up. Find him and have him help you. I'm not leaving without Jaden or Josh.

With that Emily starts walking back to her apartment when Bryce walks out and grabs her. He pulls her into the room.

Bryce: Hey baby.
Emily: Get off me.

Emily's body goes stiff at the contact with Bryce and he notices.

Bryce: You used to melt when I touched you.
Emily: I don't like you anymore.
Bryce: Well that's too bad.

Bryce drags her to the room where the boys are.

Bryce: I'm not done with you.
Buddy: What do you want me to do with Phillip?
Phillip: Em what are you doing here?
Emily: Everyone is here. I can't let them get hurt.
Bryce: Correction. Jaden is here.
Emily: I already told you I moved on.
Bryce: Sure you have. I have you begging for me.
Emily: In your dreams.
Bryce: You better watch what you say. And besides I'm the best you've ever had.
Emily: Wrong.
