Pt.82

After Chreesh gets everything loaded he walks back inside and finds Emily sitting on the couch with something in her arms.

Chreesh: Whatcha got their sweet pea?
Emily: It's why he came here.
Chreesh: Why did he come here?
Emily: To give me something
Chreesh: What is it?
Emily: The sway house papers and his PAU chain.

Emily slumps back into the couch and Chreesh sits next to her.

Chreesh: We should get going.
Emily: Yeah. Give me a minute.
Chreesh: Alright.

Chreesh hesitantly gets up and walks outside. Emily looks down at the black velvet-covered necklace box and keeps ahold of it. She stands up and walks outside to Chreesh's truck. She gets in the passenger seat and moves the middle console up. She scoots over to Chreesh's side and he hugs her.

Chreesh: It's okay, sweet pea.
Emily: No. It's never gonna be okay.

Chreesh makes Emily look at him and pushes a couple of strands out of her face.

Chreesh: He will never come near you as long as the boys and I are around.
Emily: But you guys aren't always around.
Chreesh: Someone will always be around.

Chreesh puts his seat belt on and Emily does the same. He holds Emily to his side as he drives.

They finally get to Tayler's and Emily runs into her brother's arms. Tayler holds her as she starts crying.

Tayler: I'm here. I'm here. He isn't coming anywhere near you again.
Emily: He he he
Tayler: It's okay.

Emily nods and continues to hold onto Tayler. After Tayler realizes what Emily is wearing he takes his sweats off and hands them to Emily. He has shorts on.

Emily puts his sweats on and leads him to Chreesh's truck where she hands him what Bryce left her.

Tayler: No. No no.
Emily: What do I do bubba?

Tayler pulls Emily into another hug and gets her inside. He gets her on the couch and sits next to her.

Tayler: You'll be in my room. I'll sleep on my couch.
Emily: No I'll sleep on the couch.
Tayler: Nice try.

Caden and Tyler walk downstairs with messy hair and them rubbing their eyes.

Tyler: What's going on?
Emily: We didn't mean to wake you guys up.

Kayden and the boys walk into the living room and they all hug Emily. After they are done hugging Emily they walk over to Chreesh and dab him up.

Tyler: Em?
Tayler: Bryce found her.
Tyler: Are you okay?

Tyler goes to walk over to Emily and Rocky and Lane block him.

Tyler: This is not about me right now.
Chreesh: You've done enough.

Chreesh sits by Emily and she lays her head on his shoulder.

Tayler: Chreesh takes her up to my room.

Chreesh gets Emily up and they start walking upstairs.

Lane: Goodnight Em!
Emily: Night.

They get outside Tayler's room and Emily looks up at Chreesh.

Chreesh: Sweet pea you've been giving me that look almost all day.
Emily: No.
Chreesh: Yeah.

Emily shakes her head and goes into the room. She lays down on Tayler's bed and Chreesh sits next to her. A couple of minutes later she is asleep holding Chreesh's hand. Tayler walks upstairs and Chreesh is asleep sitting against the headboard. He chuckles and walks back downstairs.

The next afternoon, when Emily wakes Tayler is walking into his room. She sits up and Tayler walks over to the bed.

Tayler: You doing okay?
Emily: Yeah. Where is everyone?
Tayler: They headed to the mall.
Emily: Oh!

Emily gets out of Tayler's bed and walks to his bathroom. Once she walks out and downstairs Tayler has the black velvet box on his living room table.

Tayler: Why would he give you this?
Emily: He told Buddy he would get my trust back. This is how he wants it back. He wants me to think that giving me this stuff will be enough to forgive him. He's wrong!
Tayler: What do you think he's trying to do?
Emily: Tayler you know him better than anybody else.
Tayler: I don't know what he wants.
Emily: Neither do I. We aren't gonna know unless someone talks to him.
Tayler: Not happening.

Emily sighs and stands up.

Emily: I'm gonna go to Hype.
Tayler: Are you gonna be okay?
Emily: I'll be back later.
Tayler: What's going on with you and Chreesh?
Emily: He's a good friend.
Tayler: I've taught you well.
Emily: I haven't slept with him, Tay!
Tayler: Sure sure.
Emily: We haven't even kissed.

Emily shakes her head.

Emily: Chreesh has my suitcase.
Tayler: No it's hy the door.
Emily: Oh okay.

Emily takes her suitcase out to her car and comes back inside for the stuff Bryce gave her. She hugs Tayler and says bye. She then goes back out to her car and the guys pull into the driveway.

Rocky: Where you going, baby?

Emily rolls her eyes and giggles. Kayden gets out of the truck and so does Jaydan.

Jaydan: Em?
Emily: I'll be back.
Kayden: Where are you going?
Emily: I am going back home. We can hang out tomorrow.
Kayden: Call us if you need us.
Emily: I will.

Emily hugs them and Rocky and Lane get out of the truck. She then hugs them and Chreesh finally gets out of his truck. She hugs him last and whispers in his ear.

Emily: You're my favorite.

Chreesh laughs and nods his head. He holds Emily longer and he finally let's go.

Caden: It's not like she's moving half away across the world now!
Emily: Thank you. I'll be back tomorrow if I can leave without everyone tackling me in hugs.
Rocky: Alright take care baby.

Emily sticks her tongue out at him.

Emily gets into her car and speeds out of the driveway making her tires screech and goes home. She texts Thomas to tell everyone he has a surprise.

Once she gets home she parks away from the cameras and sneaks up to the front door. Once she knocks on the door Thomas opens the door with his camera out and recording. He opens the door all the way and everyone is standing there.

Bryce, Jacob, Kristian, and Ace all run and engulf Emily in a big hug.

Mia: Let her breathe guys!
Thomas: It's good for you come home Em.
Emily: Guys let me breathe!
Jacob: I'm so glad you're home.

They all let her go and someone walks out from behind Thomas.
