Pt.33

Nick: Ryland man you gotta girl at home!
Emily: Time to put you in the car.

Nick gets Ryland in the car and closes the door and looks at Emily.

Nick: You good?
Emily: Yeah I'm good.
Nick: He has a girlfriend at home.
Emily: I hope he doesn't remember that.
Nick: Probably not.

Nick pulls Emily into a hug and they go their separate ways. They both drive away.

Once Emily gets back home she walks in the door and goes to the kitchen. Once she walks into the kitchen Jackson is the only one.

Jackson's face drops and he turns away. Emily walks over to him and stands by him. Jackson turns away.

Emily: Jacks.
Jackson: What.
Emily: Don't do this. I need you in my life.
Jackson: I am.
Emily: I want to tell you but I want to be sure.
Jackson: Sure. Sure. The next thing your gonna tell me is that you guys are together.
Emily: I told you it's not like that. He's like family.

Jackson walks away and Jacob walks into the kitchen. He runs up to Emily as she falls to her knees.

Jacob: Hey it's okay. You got me and everyone else.
Emily: It's not like that. I will tell everyone when I know for sure.
Jacob: You don't have to explain yourself.

Emily hugs Jacob and they stay like that until Emily calms down and she stands up. Jacob stands up and walks her to her room and hugs her good night. Emily walks into her room and collapses on her bed. After about a good 15 minutes age gets up and changes into Pjs. She gets her blanket and unicorn and goes downstairs with her laptop and gets on the beanbag. She falls asleep watching Netflix and crying.

The next morning Emily wakes up to being picked up. She freaks out and clings to them.

Vinnie: Em it's okay. I got you. Why are you sleeping down in the living room?
Emily: I don't know. I want to stay on the beanbag.

Vinnie puts her back down and sits next to her.

Vinnie: Em what's going on? Are you still getting nightmares? You have mascara smeared everywhere.

Thomas and the guys walk downstairs with their gym bags. Thomas rushes over to Emily.

Thomas: What's wrong?
Emily: I'm fine.

Emily looks up and sees Jackson. She means mugs him and looks away. Thomas catches on and throws Kristian his keys. The boys leave and Thomas makes Emily loom at him.

Thomas: Is it Jackson?
Emily: He won't believe me. He said he was done.
Thomas: With what?
Emily: Whatever me and he have. He turns away every time I try to talk to him.

Vinnie stands up and Emily follows him. Thomas follows them.

Emily: Vin. Stop it isn't worth it.
Vinnie: Him making you cry yourself to sleep is worth it.

Vinnie walks outside and Thomas walks past Emily and grabs Vinnie's arm and stops him from stepping off the porch. Emily starts crying and takes Vinnie's arm.

Emily: Vin.
Vinnie: Hope you are proud Jackson!
Emily: Vin stop. I will tell him once I know more.
Vinnie: Another guy she has cried over.

Jackson looks at Emily and his face falls. Vinnie turns around and Emily hugs him. The boys look at Jackson and he lowers his head down in defeat.

Thomas: Stay with her. If I'm not back by the time she had to leave take her to the thing she has to go to.
Vinnie: Okay.

Thomas walks down the steps and all the guys get in the truck. Vinnie was Emily inside and he takes her unicorn and blanket and they walk up to his room.
