Chapter 31 : Reduced Tteok Tears

"Are you really THE MAMAMOO?!" gasped Byulyi, still unable to process everything before her eyes. Hyejin just had enough of her childhood friend repeating the same line for the past 5 minutes, so she pinched her cheek as hard as she could until she yelled out in pain, "Aaaaah!!! That hurt! It's not a dream holy sh-"

"Ya! Stop it, get your shit together. How long are you going to ask the same question?" said Hyejin as she let go of her cheek.

MAMAMOO members only smiled at their reactions since they're so used to see their fans act that way, all except for Maria who can't hold her laughter upon seeing that scene and whispered to Gabriella, "she's so wild, I like it."

After regaining her composure before the super idols, Byulyi restarted her question, "Why would South Korea's legendary idol group come all the way here to support a small business like Tteok Tokki?"

"Why not? You don't want us here?" grinned MoonStar who gave her a cheeky smile. Solar lightly nudged her with her elbow to remind her to behave herself before replying to Byulyi, "Sorry, she just loves teasing... Aish... There's a time and place for everything MoonStar-sshi."

In that moment there is a voice that echoes in Yongsun's head, "sounds like someone I know..."

"Ahahaha... Sorry, it's a habit of mine to tease cute girls whenever I see one, forgive me?" said MoonStar with a wink before reaching out her hand for a handshake, "It'll be our pleasure to help you."

Due to all the nervous and high tension, Byulyi wiped her sweaty palm on her apron before shaking her hand, further clarifying, "No, no. Pleasure is all mine. I'm sorry for asking. It's just... We're not even a Michelin star restaurant, I feel like we don't deserve you. I don't even know how I can ever repay you for doing such a big favour."

"I want that one! Just pay us with that!" exclaimed Maria while pointing at the menu on Tteok Tokki. Gabriella simply shook her head and sighed loudly as if she's already used to it.

"Hahaha... I love Maria, she's such a kid!" commented Hyejin but she immediately sealed her lips shut when she sensed multiple eyes watching her. If eyes can talk, theirs would be, "you're one to talk!" yelling at her, due to their striking resemblance in character.

Byulyi rolled up her sleeves and completed four orders of Tteok-Burger in a heartbeat. After a single bite into it, they wouldn't stop singing praises about how good it is, "Now this is what we came for. I'd say it's worth our trip here." said Gabriella. Byulyi gave a little bow shyly.

So-Hyun had to cut their fan-meeting short as she discusses the program for the day with MAMAMOO. Crewmembers jogged towards them to set-up the stage and testing the audio, while they did a rehearsal before the opening. By then, So-Hyun had already notified their presence all over SNS.

It doesn't take long for words to spread throughout every corner of South Korea. Citizens were all shaken by the fact that MAMAMOO is having a live concert next to Tteok Tokki and anyone who voted can get an autograph from the idols. Without a doubt, Tteok Tokki already has a line queueing up even before they open for the finale.

Goong-Min took a chance to approach MAMAMOO, 10 minutes before the clock hits 7 AM, "Hello, I'm Chef Min. It's a pleasure to meet you all, I'm a big fan." he said while reaching out his hand to shake their hands. They accepted it with a bow, but only Solar responded to him, "Likewise, Chef Min. I've enjoyed watching all your cooking show."

"Is that so?" he smiled, eyes brimming full of hope on the opportunity that has risen, "In that case, why don't you come over and I'll teach you some of the dishes that you want to learn?" Feeling a little uneasy with the situation, MoonStar intervened, "What to do? Unfortunately, we're so tight on schedule today since we're having concert here to support Tteok Tokki."
