The next evening, Da Hee and Elijah eonni stopped by my apartment and dropped off my belongings from the Lee household. It doesn't surprise me to see only one single box since I never called it home in the first place, no matter how much I appreciate both sisters looking after me. It held more nightmare than pleasant memories.

"Take care, Byul-ah. Don't miss your annual health check-up, okay? Although I wouldn't want to see you in the hospital, since it could mean you're hurt somewhere, but still drop by from time to time, I'll buy you lunch." Said Da Hee eonni. I replied a 'yes' and bowed.

"See you in school, Byul-ah." Said Elijah eonni then they both waved me goodbye.

Soon, Min oppa and Eric came by to my house and unloaded all boxes filled with my belongings to Min oppa's car. That's right, from today I'll be moving into the Nam household, "Yo, sis! I can call you that now, right? We're family now." Said Eric while holding up his fist, I bumped it with my fist and replied, "Yo, bro! Glad to be part of the family."

"You're kidding... Just weeks ago, you're so against on marrying me. You could've been part of this family that way." Min oppa teased which I responded with a soft chuckle. He ruffled my hair and said, "Joking, sis. Really glad to have a little sister in the family."

"Ohhh... Reaaally...? Do you hate me that much? Oppa?" said Eric, he then tucked his short hair back to his ear, blinking his eyes repetitively and held up both fist in front of his face showing an aegyo. Min oppa and I returned him a disgusted look and in chorus, we yelled, "Ew!!! Eric, stop that! I'm gonna tell Wendy!"

We continued to joke around for a little longer, anyone who witnessed it would think we had been siblings all our lives. Before we leave, I looked back at the vacant room of my apartment one last time. Though I didn't have many memories in this house since I've spent most of my time between school and Tteok Tokki, but my bedroom held the most memories of me and Yongsun ssaem back when she took care of me when I caught a cold.

I missed her so much, there isn't a day that goes by where I sent her text messages asking her how her day been, have she been eating well, did she have a good sleep. As pointless as it may be, I understood her circumstances that her phone might be confiscated but I still wrote to her anyway, hoping she'll at least get the chance to read it even if she couldn't reply to me.

Min oppa drove us back to the Nam household and the moment I stepped out of the car, there were exploding popping sounds followed by confetti showering over me. I was startled and couldn't see clearly with all the floating confetti dancing in the air, but once it settled down, I saw Mr. and Mrs. Nam clapping excitedly, "Welcome to the family, our dear daughter!" I don't know if I was missing ssaem too much, or I was touched by how welcoming they are, but I couldn't control my tears from flowing down.

"O-Omo... A-Are you okay, Byulyi?" asked Mrs. Nam in a concerned tone, before slapping Mr. Nam on the back, "Yeobo! I told you this is all too much you scared our poor daughter! Look at her, you made her cry!"
