Chapter 54

Right when he got outside he was no longer in th cold territory. Instead, he was now in a jungle that had vines in every corner. Huge trees that made everything inside dark and gray. There was also a layer of fog around the area however it didn't bother George's vision at all. The sound of a typical jungle found in the world was heard.

George ran in the jungle as he tries to find the first gem found in the north. This was the green gem. He had received more information about this green gem. It is said to be the Lost Gem. This was found in the north where the jungle was found. Since it was the closest. He went there first.

George looked at the timer on his bracelet.

He had already wasted eleven minutes and an hour. And that forty nine minutes went down to forty eight just now. George internally swore  and quickly used his super speed ability while he climbed the branches. He grabbed one of the huge branches and used it as boost to run from tree to tree.

The trees here were huge at least thirteen meters average. That was why George couldn't travel to the top since it would take much more of his time. That was why he only ran at the six to seven meter height of the trees where he could at least see the sun. George had to move quick since for this day he only had at least less than twenty three hours to complete his mission.

The brunette was not planning on knowing what would happen if the timer runs out. He always believed that living was the best. Dying did not fit him.

Suddenly he saw a huge wall  in front of him. The wall was made out of pure stone that had multiple cracks on it. It was twice as tall as the jungle trees he had used to run. He jumped to the ground and gasped when he realized that there was no way to get cross this wall since it stretched out miles when he looked both left and right.

He would have to enter the huge dark opening in front of him that was at least two meters wide and the entrance was just the same height as the walls. George took out flashlight and pressed the second button and the entrance of the wall including the jungle that surrounded him from the back lit up.

He entered the entrance of the area and heard a woman's voice in his ears, "Ring! Player 404 has officially triggered 'Survive the Maze!' Find the purple gem before you get killed by monsters in the huge maze!"

Bang! George's pupils shook when he felt the ground below him shake. Huge amounts of ashes like smoke covered the atmosphere below his feet from the dust when the walls behind him collided against the ground. George frowned when he saw that he was now trapped.

George started to wall through the maze and continued to look around the area while he randomly goes on different paths. It seemed like he had to explore majority of the maze's paths until he finds the gem. Of course, he would have to do it while he bumps into monsters on his way there.

The walls were thick; at least four meters. He twisted his body to the corner of the wall and saw something familiar. He saw a huge dog that had cop outfit. Chase, the dog who was easily defeated by Adam was staring at his soul. "Hoho! A human! Is this why I was sent here? Eliminate you're so sweet! No I won't get hungry!"

Since this was the fourth main door game. Chase had to be at least now in the level of the Serpent Dragon. No, he had to be at least level five hundred now. George could sense that the atmosphere was way worse than he had felt back at the first main door game. George slowly backed away when Chase started to go forward.
