Chapter 67

The names of the people who were on their way towards here were Raya and Max. Raya was the girl and Max was the boy. Based on Toby and Tommy's information. The two seemed to be friends and the old man who they were talking about just happened to be someone strong that bumped into their team.

There was only about five minutes left in full speed before the two arrive in their station. Kassie pulled out a crossbow and had multiple arrows on her pocket that had paralyzing poison on the tips. It only lasts about three minutes but it was enough. She also brought out multiple smoke bombs and helpful potions.

On the other hand, she also had a whip that George had given her. Toby had his bees to protect himself while Tommy had red and white katana. For Wilbur, he only had his fighting skills that he was good at. This should be enough right? Kassie didn't want to worry but she couldn't help it.

She went through every possible probably that could happen in the next few moments. The best possible thing to happen is to easily defeat them and hope that they had overestimated them. The worst possible scenario was that they underestimated the two and they all died and ended up giving their station.

She then felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and saw Wilbur who nodded. "Calm down. We'll just have to do our best. That's what you learned from your brother right?" That's right.

She remembered what Clay said, 'Always do your best in fighting. If you wish to live. Sometimes you'll have to escape. Them het back revenge when you're strong again.' The words rang in her ears and she gripped her whip tighter and placed the cross bow on her waist.

"Yeah" she said lightly and brought down her hands while holding the end of the whip tightly.

She then felt a huge wave of energy getting close. "Everyone! Dodge!" She heard Toby's urgent voice and she immediately crouched down to the left with her hand on the floor. Bang! A huge red ray of light came towards them and landed just behind Kassie. Kassie looked at the direction where the laser came from and saw two people going towards them.

The boy frowned mockingly, "Damnit. They dodged? Ugh, stupid bees ruined the fun" Toby flinched when he heard the words bees and looked at the Max who was looking at him.

"What? You think I don't know that those bees were stalking us the past hours? Kid, learn to be more stealthy next time" Max laughed and Raya rolled her eyes looking at everyone. She smiled, "Their abilities are very useless. Except, for that girl though. She has a little potential" Raya said pointing at Kassie who tightened her grip at the whip even more.

"Shut up, will ya?" Kassie pulled out her crossbow and shot one towards Raya's leg that she easily lifted as if it was nothing. Wilbur started attacking Max together with Toby just like how it was planned while Kassie and Tommy will take care of Raya. "Tommy!" Kassie yelled who immediately nodded and started to swing his sword towards Raya.

Raya rolled her eyes and dodged Tommy's attack easily. Kassie straitened her whip and held the handle tightly. She instantly started to attack Raya with it. The whip wrapped around Raya easily and Kassie pulled the whip harshly towards her. Raya gasped and fell to the ground and tried to escape. However, Kassie only tightened it more.

Raya pulled out an unexpected dagger and tried to cut off the whip but Kassie pulled the whip back afraid she might damage it. Raya laughed, "You're scared" she said. Tommy came from the left and swung his katana towards Raya who twisted her body. However, she did get a deep cut on her arm. "You damn child!"

"I am not a fucking child woman!" Tommy yelled and gave off high pitched sound waves towards Raya for only her to hear.

"You- agh!" Raya covered her ears in the sudden attack however that didn't stop her from attacking. She jumped and kicked Tommy on the chest while blocking her ears and slammed him on the wall. A huge crack came at the tunnel when Tommy was slammed and he groaned at the pain.
