Apologies

The next day
I've decided that I'm gonna be an adult and apologize to both my sister and Damon later today for how I acted yesterday.

When I woke up, Stefan was sleeping peacefully beside me. I wish I knew him when he was human, not that I don't love him now but if he's this amazing now... I'd love to see him then.

"Your staring" He says, his eyes still closed. "No I'm not, I'm looking romantically" "Well it's creepy" He says jokingly. "It's romantic" He chuckles and rolls over on me.

"Mm, Stefan, we can't" "Ugh, why?" He groans with a pout. "Because I have stuff to do, then we can for as long as you want to" I say and kiss him one more time.

"Ugh, fine" He groans and goes to the bathroom, heading into the shower. I tie my robe up around my front before going into the bathroom and throwing my hair into a messy bun as Stefan takes his shower.

After I put my hair up, I go downstairs to find Damon pouring his Bourbon and I stop. I've been standing on the same step for what seems like an hour when Damon turns around. His eyes widened, they sparkle seeing me there and he smirks a bit.

"Hey, Damon" "Hey, Ava" "Look, Damon, I- I wanted to say that I'm sorry for yesterday, I totally overreacted" "Yeah, I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have slept with Rebekah" "No Damon, you should be able to sleep with whoever you damn well want to, so I really am sorry" "Well, I'll forgive you, if you forgive me" "Damon, I wasn't mad I was just... upset, I don't want my sister to get hurt again, ya know? But, I'll forgive you if those words make you feel better" "Thank you" I vamped over to him and hug him.

Damon went to The Grill while Stefan and I stayed at the boarding house. It was a good day, I'd made up with Damon and Bekah, it's sunny outside, Stefan and I are good, everything... is perfect.
