I'm Scared

"Stefan?" Ava asks, worried. "What's wrong?" "Can I tell you something?" I nod, taking her hand and sitting in the grass. "Anything" "To be honest, I'm... I'm scared" "Scared of what?" "Having this baby" I look at her and put my finger on her cheek.

"Ava, you have absolutely nothing to worry about... you're gonna be an amazing mother, and I won't leave your side... and you have Damon, Elena, Caroline, Bonnie, and Matt, plus your family... whose all here for you" I nod.

"I know, I'm just... I've always wanted a family, but I never thought it'd actually happen" "I know, but it's gonna be fine, everything is gonna work out" "I love you, Stefan" "I love you, too" I say and kiss her.

When I hear birds chirping, I groan in frustration, of course I was dreaming that! Ava runs her fingers through my hair, making me moan. With my eyes still closed, I turn to look at her, slowly opening my eyes.

"Do you know what time it is?" She asks with a smile. "Mh-mm" I shake my head. "Almost one in the afternoon" She says, making me groan. "You groan to much" "You know you like it" I say with a smirk, making her hit me in the back of the head.

I decided that it'd be a good idea to make her human lunch since she's having a human baby. She'll obviously be drinking blood, but we decided that the baby herself needs to have nutrients and all that stuff to be healthy.

So, for lunch, we're gonna go to The Grill and she's gonna eat something for the baby. She's constantly eating chili cheese fries here anyway. But she's gonna try something different, healthier for her and the baby this time.

"All I see on this menu... is chili cheese fries" "Get them then" He said laughing. "No, I'm trying to eat healthy, Stefan" I say. "Hey, guys, chili cheese fries?" "Yeah, that's what she's having" Stefan said to Matt, before I could object.

"Stefan!" I say. "No point, eat whatever you want to" "Ugh" "Ok, fine" I sigh, when the food sets in front of me and I smell it I start shoving it in my mouth.

"Mm, moh my God! These taste so good! I feel like I'm in Heaven!" I groan. "I think your exaggerating just a bit" I shake my head but keep eating them.

We finally left and went back to the boarding house. Damon tried to have a conversation with me but I was just so damn tired after that. So Stefan and I went to bed early tonight.
