I Just Pray

~The next day~
Dear diary,
I feel so much better today! Of course I still feel guilty about killing all those people, but there really isn't anything I can do now, but I pray to the Lord that He forgives me. I've done a lot of bad things in my life, but this is something that I just don't think that I'll ever be able to get over.

I skip down the stairs- after putting my diary away- accidentally bumping into Stefan. A smile spreads across my face as he chuckles at me.

"Your in a good mood" "Why wouldn't I be? Today is a new day, a dawn of a new era!" "And your ok with-?" "Yep, absolutely fine" "Ok, that's good" I hug him and head for the door.

"Where are you going?" "Don't worry about it" I say, walking out the door.

Truth be told, I just went to The Grill, then for a jog. But, I didn't get back until around midnight or so. Stefan had been up waiting for me in the room we share.

"Hey, Stefan, what are you doing up?" I whisper. "Wanted to make sure you got here safely" "That's nice of you, but did you even know where I was?" "No, but if you were in trouble or something, I'd know because you wouldn't have come home" "You really care about me, huh?" I smirk, sarcastically.

"I know your being sarcastic, but when I say this, I'm not... yes, I really do care about you" "Well your one of my best friends, so I care about you, too" He sighs.

"What is it?" "I don't care about you the way you think I do" "What do you mean?" "Ava, I love you" "What?" "I love you" "I love you too" I smile and he kisses me, he pulls back and rests his forehead on mine. We look into each other's eyes and I kiss him.

"Wait, stop" He says, before I could take my shirt off. "Every time we have sex, you disappear the next day" I look into his eyes and tears fill them. "It has nothing to do with you, I won't leave, I'm staying" "Promise? Because I can't keep doing this" "I promise" He switches us, so he's on top.

Dear diary,
Stefan & I told each other how we felt, I came home yesterday at around midnight & he told me he loved me, & I said I loved him back. Then, we had sex, before we did, he told me he was worried about me leaving him again. Because I leave every time we have sex... I honestly didn't know I did that, but I reassured him I was staying.
It was a wonderful time, we've had sex 2 more times since then. He's an amazing guy & I'm upset that I had to leave him all those centuries ago. We could have been together all this time, but instead, he left & I had Nik compel him to forget about me.
