I'm Leaving Mystic Falls

Damon decides to take a shower, but I fell asleep while he was in there. Of course Stefan came home, I didn't even wake up for that, that's how tired I was -Damon just helped me sleep. 😼😼

Ava and I just did maybe the stupidest thing that we could ever do, but it was good. When I took a shower, she fell asleep damn she's so peaceful when she's asleep. I remember her saying she hasn't been getting a lot of sleep lately... boom... problem solved. She needed to have sex.

I decided to leave her be and go get some bourbon, when I run into my baby bro. He stands there with his arms crossed.

"Hello, brother... how was school today? Learn anything new?" "Yeah, actually I did" "Yeah? What's that?" "I learned that my brother and my ex slept together" "Ah, they teach that?" He takes a calming breath.

"Look, Stefan, she needed a breather and plus, we were bored" "You... you were bored?" "Yep" "Damon, you know we had something" "In 1920. At least I compliment her, and don't run off like she's the plague! Besides it was a one time thing, her and I both know that, she was depressed about you, I helped her get over it for awhile"

"Damon?" She asks, tiredly. I turn and she's coming downstairs in only a shirt and underwear. "Ava, your not helping my case" What?" She asks, rubbing her eyes, yawning. "Please, go upstairs and put some clothes on" She nods and slowly walks up the stairs.

"Do you both know, Damon?" "Look, Stefan, she's depressed I'm trying to help her in whatever way I can ok? If that means having great sex with her, then so be it, but at least I know I'm making her happy"

I go upstairs and open Ava's cracked door; her head in her hands, she's crying.

"What's wrong?" "I'm never good enough" She whimpers. "What are you talking about?" "You only slept with me because you wanted to get my mind off things-" I sigh sadly. "-Stefan just doesn't want me, Elena has all the friends, she has you and... and Stefan, and Rebekah and Niklaus are in New Orleans all the way away from me" She sobs. "Hey, Ava, you are one of-" She shakes her and says,

"I'm going back home, Nik and Rebekah are already waiting... with no Elijah of course!" She sobs again. I feel awful for her, she's going through so much.

"I wrote a letter to each of you, this one's your, and this one's his. Mind giving it to him for me?" "Course" I say, sadly. "Do you want help packing your stuff" "I did it already, I've got things packed at my house too, my maid did it. I spent all night last night packing"

"Ava, come on don't let Stefan run you away" "It's not just him, Damon, I need to get out of Mystic Falls, I'll come visit, don't worry" "Promise you'll visit?" "I promise" "Ok, and call everyday, text me too" "I will, ugh I don't wanna leave you Damon, but I have to... thank you for being my best friend, even when I just got here" She says, kissing me on the cheek.
