Our Junior year started off nicely. I had over half my classes with Ivar, sometimes him and Jasper both. I got English again with the twins, gym this time with both of them and Ivar as well. I continued French with Rosalie. Emmett was in my Math with Ivar. History I had with only Jasper; I wouldn't have that any other way at this point, he's the only reason I passed last year. Social Studies and Health I had with both Ivar and Jasper, and then Science I had with Ivar.
Halloween passed quietly. Alice tried to get a party going with costumes, and I point blank refused her. I told her that I would be on the res, it was tradition. That was a lie, and Ivar could tell I was lying, and he asked about it later at home, I told him how I disliked Halloween after Gotham. I gave him a watered down run down on some the things that would happen in Gotham on Halloween, and he understood from that why I hated the holiday. I haven't told the further reasons on why I hate the holiday, but I know I'll get to that soon.
Ivar had picked up a few Batman comics to learn more about that world after I told him about my life there. He did the same with the Naruto anime DVD's, but since its 2003, not many of them exist yet. I told him he didn't have to watch them yet, that it would be fun later to watch the show together once it's complete and I could point things out. He seemed more intrigued by this idea and decided to wait. He was still building a little comics collection for Batman though; I think he just likes them.
Our one-year anniversary was approaching, and it was growing close to time to tell him about my last resurrection. There are important things he needs to know about that life, and I've put off telling him for long enough. Also, I'm also ready to tell the Cullen's, namely Edward, about Twilight. There's just over a year before Bella should be coming to Forks. But before that, Ivar needs to know more, and I have a feeling there is something he needs to tell me too.
He took me out to dinner at the Space Needle again for our anniversary since I had loved it so much on our first date. We exchanged gifts, he got me a fancy box of Jasmine tea and pair of silver robin bird earrings made with amber. Those brought a huge smile to my face, because I love all my Robin brothers and miss them. Also, the amber was almost the exact shade of Ivar's eyes, so it brought special parts of my soul together.
It made my gift a little lame in comparison. I got him a Viking style bracelet, made from leather and beads with a little steel axe on it. He immediately put it on with a smile though, so I thought my gift wasn't too lame.
