"I have a question for you my love." Ivar says hesitantly as we are walking out of the movie theatre. We had just finished seeing the last movie in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and it's our winter break. Great perk of resurrections, I get to see the greatest movies on the big screens again.

"Go for it, kjekken." I tell him with a smile. We often do this when one of us has a random thought or question about the other's past.

"Do you think this is your final resurrection? Or do you think Death will take you somewhere else again?" He asks me with worry.

"That's a good question." I ponder for a moment. "I don't presume to speak for Death, but I have a strong feeling this is my final life. I don't think they would have sent me to my soulmate just to send me somewhere else." I tell him honestly. "Why the worry?"

"I am afraid that you could be taken away." He admits in a quiet voice.

"My gut says I will not. I trust that." I say with confidence.

"Then another question... How long do you think you will be in this life?" He asks me nervously.

"I don't understand?" I question him in confusion.

"I mean... do you want to live a normal, human length of life? Or do you seek immortality? I want to say, before you answer, that I will join you in either, so please do not base your decisions on me." He hastily adds.

"That's something I've thought of." I say to him sincerely. "There are a few variables that can change, of course, but ultimately my decision is to join you in immortality. But, I want to wait. I want to be older, like 20-22. I want to develop my mind and body more. If there's an emergency, and I can't be saved without being changed, I give my permission to change me, I just ask that you try everything possible first to save me, especially if I am under 18, like now." I tell him, then have an extra thought. "There's also something that you need to know. A possibility I'm not sure you're aware of. It's not a guarantee, but it is something I know how to do thanks to my book knowledge of this world. I'm mostly telling you this now so that you and I both equally have time to contemplate it."

"What is it?" He asks curiously at my serious tone.

"Human females have the ability to birth a hybrid child with a vampire male." I say in a rush, but clearly and Ivar freezes in his motions. "It happened in the books. It's dangerous, but only because they didn't know how to alleviate the symptoms until the very end of the pregnancy. It's an accelerated pregnancy, barely lasting two months. The woman must drink blood in order to feed the child. The baby is also much stronger than the mother, so they do end up accidently hurting them, and breaking some bones. Also, the mother must be turned immediately following the birth. Like, the split second after. The hybrid is also an interesting being. They grow at an accelerated rate for the first seven years, then they're immortal and look like young adults forever. They eat human food and blood." I inform him of everything in a rush. Children has been a very... sore subject for me from my past.

"This does not seem possible... Who in the story goes through this?" He asks in disbelief.

"Bella." I answer him. "She and Edward have a daughter. Some other drama happens because of it, but it's true. I can't guarantee this to be a true possibility for... say us, for example... but it is some knowledge I have that you deserve to know." I tell him and look away sheepishly.

"Is this something that you want, fridr?" He asks me seriously.

"It's too early to say." I answer truthfully. "I do know it's not up to only one person. So when we have sex in the future, I'll be on birth control and you will use protection too. That will avoid that outcome until we decide. For now though, no need to dwell on it." I tell him with a smirk.
