I finished up my Christmas shopping and wrapping, putting Charlie's gifts under the tree. I had already sent out ones to Bella and Renee a few days ago so they would arrive to them on time. For Bella, I got her the Hobbit and the newest Harry Potter book, and for Renee I got her an organic bath set from a local shop here I know she likes. I also took a quick trip down to the res just to drop off gifts, as it's now two days till Christmas. The Clearwater's and the boys gave me my gifts to take home, which I put under our little tree to open later.

Ivar called me that night to check in, and I asked him if he was available the next day. Charlie was going to be gone all day, so it was as good a time as any to tell him my past. So under the false pretense of Christmas movies and cuddles, I got Ivar to come over the next day. I wore my hair up in a messy bun and some casual clothes that were comfortable, not putting much thought into my appearance as I was too stressed about revealing my truth.

When Ivar showed up, I was already pretty nervous. I greeted him at the door like normal and invited him in, and he relaxed on the couch next to me while I sorted out my thoughts.

"Either you are very nervous to watch this movie, or you have something you want to say." Ivar observes right away after we sat in silence with my stuck in my own thoughts. "Whichever it is fridr, please calm down, I'm not used to seeing you like this." Ivar adds nervously.

"I do have something to tell you." I say in a small voice. I turn to look him in the eye, "I'm going to tell you my secret now. You have told me yours, and I feel it's time to tell you mine."

"You do not have to if you are not ready." He says in sincerity.

"No, I am ready... it's just, I am nervous for how you will react." I say slowly to him.

"There is nothing you could tell me that would scare me off. Besides, it cannot be worse than my own secret." He says with a chuckle.

I hesitate and look sheepishly away from him with a small grimace. "Oh, it could be." I murmur, knowing he could hear that.

I have only on a few instances told others in my past lives my whole truth, and while it usually goes over ok, it always makes me nervous. However, there was the instance where I wasn't believed and almost attacked, so that has put a little fear in me for being truthful, even if it all worked out well enough in the end that time. My gut is telling me he will accept my truth just fine, so I swallow that fear and prepare to tell him.

"I will listen. No matter what." He tells me honestly.

"Ok. Here goes." I take a deep breath before starting. "All I ask is that you please don't interrupt and please believe that what I tell you now is the truth. I know those are the words you said to me before you confessed, but now I am saying them to you. Also, I will ask you to please not repeat my words, not even in thought, to anyone. I am very... protective over my secret." I glance at him to make sure he understands. He nods to me in response. "Alright then, the truth is, this is not the first life I have lived."

His face is confused, but he stays quiet for me.

"What I mean is, I am a resurrected soul." I confess slowly. "I have lived and died multiple lifetimes. Currently, I am on my fourth resurrection, and fifth life. I know exactly how this sounds to you, that it sounds insane, but it's the truth." I add with a rush seeing the flash of disbelief over his face. "When I died unexpectedly in my first life, I met Death. Death was intrigued by me, and decided to do my soul a favor. They said my soul was incomplete, and that they were going to send me to realms to revitalize it, and that each realm would teach my soul a vital lesson. Death told me that I am the only person they have done this for. My first life caused damages to my soul, or didn't give it what it needed to fully form, which is why it was needing to be fixed. With each resurrection, I grew more and more, and my soul became more complete. I understand now what Death meant, and I feel so much more whole than I ever used to."
