"Come on Bella, you look fine!" I called out to her, standing at her doorway as she fussed with her dress.
It was Prom, just two weeks after my tournament. Alice had been over earlier helping Bella get ready. Bella begrudgingly accepted an outfit as a gift from Alice. Alice offered to help me too, but I only needed her assistance for a few pins in my hair, whereas Bella needed a lot more help.
I was wearing the green dress and silver shoes we had gotten while out in Seattle two months ago, and I wore my hair in a formal braided full ponytail that draped over once of my shoulders. For my makeup, I went for a dramatic eye liner and silver metallic eyeshadow. I know the look would have been completed with a ruby red lip, but I still hate wearing red lipstick, so I opted for a nude color instead.
