"Alright fridr, why are you pouting?" Ivar asks me with a curious chuckle as he walks into my room, carrying a few empty boxes.

"I fucking miss magic so damn much right now." I whine out to him, pathetically lifting my head from where I'm laying face down on the bed.

I have been half-heartedly packing my room for two days now. I can't get motivated to actually get up and do it all by hand. I got bitter about half an hour ago when I packed up my books, looking at the latest Harry Potter book as if it was mocking me.

"I could have had this room packed in under five minutes. It's not fair!" I whine some more, knowing I'm sounding like a brat and completely not caring.

"We may not have magic here, fridr, but you do have the next best thing." He says smugly, setting the boxes down. "Me."

He starts to rapidly zoom around the room as I lay there, slowly turning on my side to watch the blurred movements. Within minutes, the books, photos, clothes, shoes, music gear, cosmetics, and all my accessories and knick-knacks are all packed and labeled into boxes.

"Where were you two days ago?!" I shout out in awe when he finishes. "That's it, you're perfect. I'm gonna marry you."

"You already said yes weeks ago." He walks over and kisses my cheek, then raises my hand and kisses my ring. "This right here says I am supposed to do all the heavy lifting anyway, it's in the job description." He teases me. I roughly grab his handsome smirking face with both my hands and place an obnoxiously loud kiss on his lips in thanks.

"Are you and Jasper all packed already?" I ask him, sitting back into the bed while he joins me, wrapping his arms around my shoulders.

I'm wearing a sports bra and leggings today, since I've been moving around so much packing in the hot summer heat. It was hilarious to see Charlie's eyes bug out of his head when he saw my tattoos earlier. I haven't exactly been hiding them, he just hasn't noticed until now. It wasn't like I murdered a whole village, but the lecture and reaction that I got from my guardian were the on the same level. He finally calmed down after two beers and some tiropetes I made for him, and after explaining that each tattoo was meaningful to me.

"We are packed, and Esme is sending out the new furniture to be there before we arrive." Ivar starts to stroke my arm gently as I mentally go over my moving checklist. We eventually move downstairs for dinner, me making sure to put a large shirt on before seeing Charlie again, lest I set him off on another lecture again.

Charlie eyes both of us skeptically when we reach the living room, clearly still sour about earlier.

"You don't have any hidden tattoos too, do you? Piercings? Just tell me now, I can't take any more surprises." Charlie says to Ivar exasperatedly.

"No." Ivar chuckles lightly at that. "Just a satanic ritual for sacrifices, but don't worry, it's on my ass so you won't see it." He says with a completely straight face.

"Oh god she's rubbing off on you." Charlie deadpans then sighs loudly while I roar with laughter. Ivar's sarcasm, while seldom, is some of the best humor I've ever heard, and he always makes me laugh loudly whenever he catches me off guard with it.

"She's a terrible influence." Ivar teases with an impish grin at my laughing face before turning back to Charlie. "But no, I don't have any tattoo's. I leave those to her, she's the creative one."

"Have you chosen what your major will be yet Ivar? You were undecided last I asked." Charlie asks him while I calm down to a light chuckle.

"Science, actually. I think I will study that. It was my favorite subject in school, after all." Ivar finishes with a wink towards me. We managed to be in the same science classes all three years he was here.
